The role
This is a newly established role, reporting directly to the CEO, combining close CEO support with ownership of strategic and cross‑functional initiatives. The role is designed for a high‑calibre individual who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution and leadership coordination.
You will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, Group Management and Board of Directors, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into concrete actions and measurable outcomes across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and manage the company’s strategy process together with the CEO, CFO and Group Management Team
- Drive group‑wide strategic initiatives, from concept through execution, ensuring delivery and organisational buy‑in
- Act as a right hand to the CEO, supporting prioritisation, decision‑making and follow‑up
- Prepare and coordinate agendas, materials and decision support for Group Management Team and Board‑related forums
- Ensure that decisions taken in Group Management translate into real business impact
- Lead agenda planning and annual cadence for Group Management
- Contribute to building a process‑oriented and execution‑focused culture, improving efficiency and clarity
- Develop and continuously improve the M&A process, and support senior management in M&A‑related projects, including PMI
- Support development of Investor Relations materials, presentations and calendar
- Serve as a central liaison between senior leaders, functions and the CEO on strategic topics and initiatives
Ideal background
- 3–5 years’ experience from top‑tier management consulting or equivalent
- Experience working with strategy, transformation, operations or M&A
- Proven ability to lead workstreams and drive cross‑functional initiatives, not just analysis
- Track record of working closely with senior executives (CEO, CFO, Group Management)
- Experience from fast‑paced, change‑driven environments
Education
- Master’s degree in business, economics, law or equivalent
- Strong academic foundation, combined with a clear focus on practical impact
Key competencies
- Structured problem‑solving and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build trust across seniority levels
- High execution capability and project management discipline
- Sound judgment, integrity and discretion
Personal qualities
- Grounded, low-ego and pragmatic, with a hands-on mindset
- Proactive, self‑driven and comfortable taking ownership
- High capacity and resilience in a complex, fast‑moving environment
- Collaborative and responsive, with strong situational awareness (“fingertoppskänsla”)
- Comfortable operating close to senior leadership and in situations with ambiguity
Additional merits
- Experience from listed companies, board work or investor relations
- Exposure to M&A, post‑merger integration or corporate development
- International experience or multi‑market exposure
- Familiarity with modern digital and AI‑enabled productivity tools
Location
The position is based in Malmö, Sweden, and includes international travel.
