We’re working with a growing, international technology business at a pivotal stage of its scale-up journey. With a high-performing team of around 50 people and ambitious growth plans, the company is now seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to drive strategic execution, financial discipline, and operational performance.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a senior leadership role focused on ensuring growth is well-coordinated, financially accountable, and strategically aligned. The position sits at the centre of the business, connecting leadership priorities with execution across finance, operations, and commercial functions.
What you’ll be doing
Strategic leadership & execution
- Partnering closely with the Managing Director to drive strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives
- Supporting planning, performance tracking, and execution across the leadership team
Financial oversight & performance management
- Owning the operating budget alongside leadership and tracking performance against plan
- Supporting FP&A, reporting, and ensuring accountability to financial targets
Commercial & revenue performance
- Working with sales leadership to ensure incentives and commercial activity support profitable growth
- Helping improve revenue operations efficiency, pricing frameworks, and invoicing processes
Governance & leadership support
- Supporting board reporting, executive decision-making, and corporate governance processes
- Acting as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the Managing Director
Operations & business infrastructure
- Supporting key operational priorities that enable the business to scale effectively
- Helping optimise suppliers, systems, and operational costs across the organisation
Leadership
- Acting as a central coordination point across teams to ensure priorities are executed effectively
- Supporting leadership alignment as the business continues to grow
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience working in strategic or operational leadership roles
- Specific finance leadership experience alongside hands on work / qualifications
- Strong financial and commercial judgement, with experience operating close to the numbers
- Comfortable working across strategy, finance, and operational execution
- Experience in scaling or high-growth environments, ideally within technology or SaaS
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a fast-moving environment
- Highly organised, process-driven, and execution-focused
- A collaborative, leadership-oriented approach with strong stakeholder management
