About Pints AI
Pints AI is a multi-award-winning AI company based in Singapore, known for deploying on-premise, privacy-preserving AI systems in some of Asia's most regulated industries - including banks, insurers, and government entities.
- Won AI in Finance Global Challenge (2023) at SFF in Singapore
- Built the 1.5 Pints open-source model - a compact LLM outperforming Apple's OpenELM and Microsoft's Phi-1.5
- Developed Autothought, our on-premises agent orchestration platform, now deployed in banks, insurers and asset managers
- Engineered SentientRAG, a low-hallucination RAG framework optimized for compliance-heavy data
Today we have 12+ live institutional deployments across Singapore, APAC and the Gulf. We have raised a US$5.6M Pre-Series A and are admitted to MAS's PathFin.ai initiative.
Responsibilities
- Run market-entry research and write go or no-go recommendations
- Own our pipeline of government and partner programmes
- Check that what we say about the product matches what we have shipped
- Keep the running record for our anchor client accounts
- Run our events calendar and own our brand position
- Build the facts and the options when the founders have a decision to make
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years in a role where you were paid to think and write: strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment or equity research, a founders' office, or programme management in government or a bank
- Based in Singapore, with the right to work here
Skills & Traits We're Looking For
- You have taken at least one research or analysis project from a blank page to a recommendation that someone acted on
- You write short. A reader can make a decision from your one page without asking you a question
- You are comfortable in a room with a bank or insurer executive, and you know when to speak and when to take notes
- You can read a product roadmap, a grant call and a sales deck, and see where they disagree
- Experience with Singapore government programmes (MAS, IMDA, EnterpriseSG) or hyperscaler partner programmes is a bonus
- Experience in financial services, especially insurance, is a bonus
- Experience running B2B events or a brand or content calendar is a bonus, if you can show one that moved a pipeline and not just attendance
- Knowing how LLM and agent products are built and sold is a bonus. You do not need to code, but you need to follow a technical conversation and ask the right next question
What You'll Do
Market and Expansion Research
- Run a market-entry study from start to end: market size, regulatory map, buyer list, partner route and cost to enter
- Write a go or no-go recommendation and present it to both founders
Programmes and Grants
- Own the pipeline of government and partner programmes, such as MAS PathFin.ai, IMDA, EnterpriseSG and Microsoft Azure Pegasus
- For each programme, record the eligibility, what we must build or submit, the owners and the dates
- Track each programme to submission and outcome
Product and Plan Integrity
- Check what we say about the product against what we have shipped
- Check that the roadmap matches the sales material and the board plan
- Flag each gap before a client or the board finds it, with a proposed fix and an owner
Key Accounts
- Join the founders on three to five anchor accounts in Singapore
- Keep the record for each account: open items, promises made, next meeting and risks
- Prepare the founders before each meeting, and follow up on every action after it
Events and Brand (25 to 30 percent of your time)
- Run the events calendar: which conferences, forums and roundtables we attend, host or speak at
- Own the run-sheet, materials, guest list and follow-up for each event
- Own our brand position, and keep it consistent across our decks, website, LinkedIn and content series
Strategy Support
- When the founders need to decide something (our next market, pricing, a new product line), build the facts and the options
- You do not make the call. You make the call easy to make
Growth Path
- After 18 months, move to Senior Associate based on performance
- Become the first hire into the Chief of Staff or COO office when we create that function
A Typical Week
- Monday: 30 minutes with both founders. You bring one page: what moved last week, what is stuck, and the three decisions you need from them
- Tuesday to Thursday: two or three client or partner meetings with a founder, each with a pre-read from you the day before and a written follow-up the same day. One block goes to events and brand. The rest is focused work: research, a programme submission, or a product check against a sales deck
- Friday: the programme register and the account records are up to date. Every open item has an owner and a date. You send both founders a five-line note on where things stand
This role is not for you if
- You want a fixed scope. Six areas will become four, then five
- You need daily direction. You will get a weekly steer and a clear deliverable, and then we leave you to do the work
- You prefer to present rather than write. The founders read; they do not sit through decks
- You think account follow-up is admin work. In this role, it is how we keep deals alive
