About Rewind Restoration

Rewind Restoration is a private equity-backed restoration-services platform growing through acquisitions and organic expansion. We have completed three acquisitions and expect to complete four additional acquisitions over the coming months.

We are building more than a collection of companies. Our goal is to create a connected, technology-enabled operating platform with strong local brands, capable leaders, consistent operating rhythms, useful data, scalable systems, and practical tools that make each business better.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Integration & Business Transformation Associate to help build that platform. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys solving different kinds of business problems and wants meaningful responsibility early in their career. You will work inside Rewind and directly alongside the founders, general managers, and leadership teams of our operating companies.

Initially, acquisition integration will represent a significant portion of the position. You will quarterback post-close workstreams, establish an operating cadence within newly acquired businesses, coordinate across functional teams, and ensure that commitments move forward.

As acquisition activity fluctuates, your responsibilities will extend into ERP and HRIS implementations, business intelligence, AI-enabled tools, process improvement, reporting, and other cross-platform initiatives. Integration is the entry point into a broader business-transformation mandate.

Because Rewind is private equity-backed, you will gain exposure to how an acquisition thesis becomes an operating plan and how improvements inside individual businesses create value across a larger platform. This is not an investing or fund-level role: your work will happen inside Rewind and its operating companies, helping make the businesses perform better.

The profile we have in mind

Someone equally comfortable facilitating a leadership meeting, building a project plan, analyzing operating data, creating a Power BI dashboard, coordinating a Sage implementation, prototyping an AI-enabled workflow, and turning an ambiguous executive priority into a practical plan.

What You Will Do

Acquisition Integration and Operating Cadence

  • Own and maintain the integration plan for newly acquired businesses.
  • Coordinate workstreams across operations, finance, HR, IT, marketing, legal, and outside partners.
  • Establish and facilitate a weekly operating cadence with each founder or brand leader and the company’s leadership team.
  • Track priorities, decisions, issues, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and risks.
  • Follow up between meetings, challenge missed commitments, and escalate stalled items when appropriate.
  • Support initial vision and planning sessions and translate priorities into executable plans.
  • Help leadership teams establish Rocks, action items, issue lists, and clear accountability.
  • Provide concise integration updates to Rewind leadership while minimizing unnecessary disruption to the acquired business.

Systems Implementation and Process Improvement

  • Help lead implementations involving ERP, HRIS, CRM, job-management, accounting, and other operating systems.
  • Play an active role in the Sage implementation, including requirements gathering, project coordination, data readiness, testing, training, and adoption.
  • Connect functional leaders, implementation partners, and end users so business requirements become practical workflows.
  • Identify disconnected tools, manual handoffs, inconsistent processes, and other sources of delay or error.
  • Develop checklists, process maps, SOPs, training materials, and simple tools that operating teams will actually use.
  • Help standardize effective practices across brands while recognizing legitimate local differences.

Business Intelligence and Analytics

  • Build and improve dashboards and operating reports using tools such as Domo and Power BI.
  • Gather, clean, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple operating systems.
  • Develop executive-ready KPI views covering revenue, margins, backlog, WIP, collections, sales funnels, productivity, and other business drivers.
  • Translate data into insights, recommendations, and clearly defined actions.
  • Support monthly operating reviews, forecasts, board materials, and variance analysis.
  • Help leadership distinguish among reporting problems, data-quality problems, and underlying operating problems.

AI, Automation, and Tool Building

  • Identify practical opportunities to use AI and automation across Rewind and its operating companies.
  • Build or prototype AI-enabled applications, workflows, agents, and internal tools.
  • Use AI to accelerate analysis, reporting, documentation, project execution, and other recurring work.
  • Work directly with users to understand their problems, test solutions, gather feedback, and improve adoption.
  • Document successful tools and workflows so they can be maintained and scaled across multiple brands.

Business Transformation and Special Projects

  • Help translate acquisition priorities and value-creation plans into executable operating initiatives.
  • Support projects such as leadership recruiting, new-market launches, vendor transitions, pricing improvements, fleet initiatives, procurement, and operating-process redesign.
  • Conduct focused business analysis and convert findings into recommendations and action plans.
  • Help resolve accountability-chart and organizational gaps within acquired businesses.
  • Identify successful practices within one brand and help adapt them for use elsewhere.
  • Step into ambiguous problems, create structure quickly, and drive the work through completion.

Integration items may include HRIS setup, bank-account transitions, payroll, I-9 verification, insurance, vehicles and licenses, vendor documentation, IT access, financial reporting, and system implementations.

Who Could Be a Strong Fit

We expect the successful candidate to have approximately three to six years of high-quality professional experience, but we care more about demonstrated capability and learning velocity than a precise number of years. Strong candidates may come from:

  • Business, operations, technology, or implementation consulting.
  • Business transformation or corporate strategy with meaningful execution responsibility.
  • A chief-of-staff, business-operations, or strategic-project role.
  • ERP, systems implementation, or technology-enabled process improvement.
  • Business intelligence or analytics combined with cross-functional project leadership.
  • A private equity-backed platform or another acquisition-oriented company.
  • A high-growth, multi-location, or operationally intensive business.

Direct experience in restoration or home services is helpful but not required.

Required Qualifications

  • Evidence of personally driving complex, cross-functional initiatives—not merely contributing analysis or updating project plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to communicate a clear executive storyline.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Domo, or another business-intelligence platform.
  • Meaningful use of modern AI tools, including examples of workflows, applications, automations, or other solutions personally built.
  • Ability to translate loosely defined business needs into structured workplans, practical tools, and measurable outcomes.
  • Confidence facilitating meetings and driving accountability with founders, general managers, executives, and functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, hold a room, and explain analytical or technical ideas to nontechnical audiences.
  • Willingness to move between strategic analysis and detailed execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% during active integrations, implementations, launches, and other important milestones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting, business transformation, systems implementation, or program management.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, post-close integration, or private equity-backed businesses.
  • Experience implementing an ERP, HRIS, CRM, or another enterprise operating system.
  • Familiarity with Sage, Domo, Power BI, ClickUp, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience with data cleaning, reconciliation, dashboard development, or light SQL.
  • Experience with multi-location, field-services, construction, home-services, or another operationally intensive industry.
  • Familiarity with EOS or another structured operating system.
  • Experience preparing executive or board-level reporting.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Learning velocity: You become useful quickly in unfamiliar systems, industries, and business problems.
  • Builder’s mindset: You enjoy creating tools, processes, and structure where none currently exist.
  • Technical curiosity: You actively experiment with AI, analytics, and new technology.
  • Action orientation: You move from analysis to execution without waiting for perfect information.
  • Ownership: You follow through, escalate issues early, and finish what you start.
  • Business judgment: You understand that the most technically elegant answer is not always the most practical one.
  • Low ego: You will build the dashboard, write the checklist, lead the meeting, or work alongside a local team—whatever the situation requires.
  • Influence: You can create accountability and move work forward even when the people involved do not report to you.

Who This Is Not For

  • Someone who wants to remain exclusively in strategy and analysis without owning implementation.
  • Someone who views project management primarily as scheduling meetings and updating task lists.
  • Someone who prefers a narrow and predictable job boundary.
  • Someone who wants to work exclusively with data or systems without engaging founders, managers, and operating teams.
  • Someone who uses AI occasionally but has little interest in building, experimenting, and finding practical applications.
  • Someone who is uncomfortable pursuing owners, challenging missed commitments, or escalating issues.

Why Join Rewind

  • Entrepreneurial environment: Help build a growing platform rather than inheriting a finished system.
  • Private equity exposure: See how acquisitions, operating improvements, data, and systems combine to create value.
  • Ground-floor impact: Help shape the processes and tools that become Rewind’s operating blueprint.
  • Unusually broad experience: Work across acquisitions, operations, analytics, AI, systems, and executive decision-making.
  • Real responsibility: Own meaningful initiatives instead of remaining in a narrowly defined supporting role.
  • Career development: Build the range required for future leadership in business transformation, portfolio-company operations, or general management.

Compensation and Travel

  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Travel of up to 40% during periods of active integration, implementation, and other important field work.
