DARA CHEN
Attending the Chief of Staff Connect conference was a highly valuable way to connect with others in the role. It was a practical, engaging way to learn from and connect with the best. I not only left with a treasure trove of best practices but also gained a network of like-minded peers.
EMILIE GRAHL
Overall great conference. I most appreciated the time to network and learn from fellow CoS's, particularly the day 1 problem solving session.

Where Chiefs of Staff and Operators Unite.

Engage with a curated group of Chiefs of Staff and operations leaders from top-performing organizations, gaining insights from the people building and running the systems their businesses depend on.

  • Chiefs of Staff driving strategic execution and alignment across high-performing organizations.
  • COOs, BizOps, and RevOps leaders who own the operating systems the business runs on.
  • Operators navigating the challenges of scaling, sustaining growth, or optimizing large, complex operations.
  • CoS and ops teams working together to align leadership priorities, manage cross-functional initiatives, and create operational clarity across the organization.

Inside COSC LONDON

From force multiplier to builder

Chief of Staff Connect returns to London in 2026, bringing together senior Chiefs of Staff and operations leaders building the next generation of company execution. Join us for a one-day gathering designed for people who don't just support strategy, but turn it into measurable outcomes.

This year's focus is From Force Multiplier to Builder: the shift from amplifying leaders behind the scenes to owning the systems, programs, and operating models that move the business forward.

London also runs an Operations track, built with our partner Operations Nation, covering how the ops function actually gets built and scaled. Expect workshops, case studies, and peer roundtables led by people doing the work, not describing it.

We'll spotlight leaders delivering results (revenue growth, cost savings, organizational efficiency) while strengthening the power skills and judgment required to lead through complexity.

The Builder Era of the Chief of Staff

Scott and Tom open the day with the question behind this year's theme: what happens when the Chief of Staff stops only multiplying a principal's output and starts building the company? A quick read on where the role is heading, why CoS and Ops belong in the same room, and how to get the most out of today.
Scott Amenta
Founder, Chief of Staff Network
Tom Guthrie
President, Chief of Staff Network
Networking – 9:30-10:00am

Speed Networking

Connect organically with Chiefs of Staff and senior operators through a guided networking experience. You'll identify and build relationships with peers facing similar challenges and opportunities, ensuring you leave COSC with connections that will support your work long after the event.
Panel – 10:00-10:55am

The Bermuda Triangle: CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff

If you have a COO, why do you need a Chief of Staff? And if you have a great Chief of Staff, do you need a COO at all? Put a CEO, a COO and a CoS in the same org and work goes missing, decisions get lost and nobody's sure who owns what. Operators who've sat in these seats get specific on where the roles differ, where they collide, and how the best leadership teams design the triangle so it builds the company instead of swallowing it. You'll leave with a clear view of when a company needs one, the other, or both.
Farah Cohen
Founder, The Ops Engine™
Dora Nagy
Operating Advisor to CEOs and Leadership Teams
Break – 10:55-11:10am

Networking Break

Refill, reset and find the person from the panel you want to argue with.
Lightning Talks – 11:10am-12:10pm

Build the Ops Function Without Breaking It (or Yourself)

Plenty of Chiefs of Staff are also the entire ops team. This one's for you. Short talks from operators who built the function from scratch: what to build first, what to leave alone, and how to scale systems without breaking the people running them. Then split into CoS and Ops tables (Ops tables hosted by Operations Nation) and apply the same method to your own org.
Lunch – 12:10-1:15pm

Lunch & Networking

Refuel and recharge while deepening conversations from the morning. This lunch is your chance to reflect, share insights, and continue building meaningful relationships with CoS peers.
Fireside – 1:15-2:00pm

Chief of Staff to COO and Beyond: The Builder's Career Arc

Libby Dangoor went from Chief of Staff to COO and beyond. We'll dig into the moves and tradeoffs along the way: when to take on more scope, how to go from fixer to owner, and what she'd tell her CoS self today. For anyone wondering where this role leads.

Libby Dangoor
Chief Performance Officer, Multiverse
Roundtables – 2:00-3:00pm

Pick Your Table: Operator Roundtables

Small tables, candid conversation, your choice of topic. From your first 90 days with a new principal and proving value in an undefined role, to making your first ops hire and deciding where ops sits in the org. Every table is led by facilitators to make the most of each dialogue.

Break – 3:00-3:20pm

Afternoon Break

Workshop – 3:20-4:20pm

You Can't Keep Up with AI. Build the System That Can.

Most people are using AI, but the way they use it is not improving. They collect prompts, try new tools and depend on themselves to keep pace with a field moving faster than any one person can sensibly follow. This workshop flips that relationship. Instead of treating AI as another tool you must continually learn to operate, you will use it to examine your working patterns, find where you are underusing it and recommend the next useful improvement. This is a working session, not a tour of someone else’s clever setup. Alex Craig and Jamie Mackay will show enough of their own AI-assisted operating systems to make the destination real. Participants will then analyse their chat history, work with a partner to improve one live workflow and build a simple loop that keeps revisiting that improvement. You will leave with something changed, not merely a longer list of things you ought to try.

Jamie Mackay
Office of the CEO, PortSwigger
Talk – 4:20-5:00pm

From Trusted Operator to Senior Leader

How do you go from trusted operator to senior leader with real scope? Rachel Goldfarb and Suzi Coul get candid about the jump: earning a seat at the table, letting go of the work that made you valuable, and building a reputation that outlasts any one principal.
Rachael Goldfarb

Closing – 5:00-5:15pm

Scott and Tom close the two days and point at what comes next for the community.
