Description
About the Role
- If you want a role with clearly defined boundaries, this is not it.
- If you are most comfortable operating inside someone else’s structure, this will feel uncomfortable.
- If you prefer observing from the sidelines instead of stepping into the arena, this is the wrong place.
- But if you want to sit at the center of decisions and help turn ambition into execution, keep reading.
What this role actually is
- This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution.
- You will work directly with the CEO on the company’s most important priorities. Some days that means driving strategic initiatives that shape the future of the organization. Other days that means resolving operational bottlenecks that cannot wait.
- You will see how decisions are made, and you will help make them happen.
- You are not here to facilitate progress. You are here to ensure progress happens.
- You will bring structure to ambiguity, drive accountability across teams, and accelerate the pace at which the company operates.
- Your impact will be measured by how much faster and more effectively the organization moves because you are here.
Who succeeds here
This role is for people who take ownership before they are asked. People who naturally move toward the hardest problems. People who do not get blocked by uncertainty, hierarchy, or incomplete information. The ones who thrive tend to:
- Take initiative without waiting for direction.
- Translate strategy into clear, executable plans.
- Earn trust quickly with executives and operators alike.
- Operate with urgency and follow through relentlessly.
- Hold a high bar for themselves and the people around them.
- Care deeply about outcomes, not credit.

- Serve as a central liaison between the CEO and senior leaders, ensuring alignment, accountability, and clear communication as the company scales.
- Own high-impact special projects from scope through delivery, managing timelines, stakeholders, and executive-level quality.
- Represent the CEO in internal and external forums, advancing priorities and reinforcing a high-performance, execution-driven culture.
