Chief of Staff - High-Growth Fintech

Location: NYC (preferred) or remote US with NYC travel once a month. EST/CST.

Comp: $90,000-$170,000 plus equity

For the right person, this role offers a pathway towards broader operational leadership and future COO responsibilities.

We're partnering with an ambitious, venture-backed fintech that's reshaping the way people move money across borders. With strong early traction, international operations, and aggressive growth plans, the business is entering a critical scale-up phase and is looking for a highly capable Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the CEO.

Acting as the CEO's right hand, you'll lead the company's highest-priority initiatives, build operational frameworks, drive execution across multiple functions, and play a key role in shaping the next stage of growth.

About you:

  • Experience within a fast-paced startup, scale-up, consulting, business operations, or Chief of Staff environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written communication and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable using data to support decision-making.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and build structure from scratch.
  • A high-agency, hands-on operator with a strong bias for action and personal ownership.
  • Backgrounds from top-tier consulting firms or high-growth businesses will be particularly well suited.

What you'll work on:

  • Lead and execute high-impact strategic projects on behalf of the CEO and leadership team.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, product, marketing, compliance, support, and partnerships.
  • Build operational frameworks, processes, and reporting structures that enable scale.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage key commercial partnerships.
  • Create executive-level communications, presentations, and business updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into company performance and strategic priorities.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, business risks, and opportunities for improvement, driving solutions with pace and ownership.
  • Help establish operating rhythms and accountability across the organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth business at a pivotal stage of its journey and work directly with the CEO on the company's most important initiatives.
