About Signalcore AI
Signalcore is building decision infrastructure for enterprise AI adoption.
Enterprises are under pressure to adopt AI, but most teams still lack a structured way to decide where AI can create value, which vendors or approaches are worth pursuing, and how to compare options with rigor. Signalcore helps companies move from fragmented AI exploration to a more disciplined evaluation process, so leaders can make better build-vs-buy decisions and move forward with greater confidence.
We are an early-stage, venture-backed company working closely with early customers and partners as we build and refine the product. The company is small, fast-moving, and still very much in the company-building phase.
The founding team brings deep experience building and scaling venture-backed companies, enterprise products, and AI systems. Our founder previously helped scale a venture-backed company to hundreds of millions in revenue and has led teams through major phases of growth, enterprise sales, operational scaling, and strategic transformation. The broader team includes experienced product, engineering, and AI leaders building at the frontier of enterprise AI evaluation.
This is a high-leverage early role for someone who wants to work directly with the founder and help turn early product and customer momentum into a repeatable operating system.
The Role
We are hiring a Chief of Staff / Business Operations Lead to work directly with the founder on the core operating work of building Signalcore.
This is not a traditional administrative Chief of Staff role. It is also not a purely strategic or deck-building role. We are looking for a high-agency operator who can move between commercial execution, internal systems, customer operations, and company-building without needing a lot of structure handed to them.
The right person will become a true right hand to the founder — helping us create leverage, follow-through, clarity, and speed during a pivotal stage of the company.
What You’ll Own
Commercial Pipeline and Go-to-Market Systems
- You will help build and manage the operating system for our early commercial motion.
- This includes target account research, ICP testing, outbound coordination, CRM hygiene, founder-led sales support, meeting prep, follow-up, pipeline tracking, and weekly commercial reporting. You should be comfortable helping us turn scattered founder conversations into a structured learning and sales motion.
- You do not need to be a traditional salesperson, but you do need to be commercially curious, organized, and willing to get close to customers.
Early Customer Launch and Commercial Learning
- You will help us turn early customer interest into a disciplined commercial learning motion.
- This includes preparing for customer and design partner conversations, capturing insights, tracking follow-ups, coordinating pilot and evaluation workflows, and helping the team understand what is converting, what is stalling, and what we are learning from the market.
- A big part of the role is helping us move from founder-led conversations to a more repeatable system for early launch: who we are targeting, what messages resonate, which use cases create urgency, what objections show up, and where customers are willing to engage or pay.
- We are looking for someone who can stay close to customers, create structure around the learning, and help convert early interest into real commercial progress.
Internal Operating Cadence and Founder Leverage
- You will help create the internal rhythm that allows a small team to execute clearly.
- This includes weekly planning, dashboards, action tracking, team coordination, investor/fundraising support, hiring process support, and internal documentation. You will help make sure important things do not fall through the cracks and that the founder and team are focused on the highest-leverage work.
- The goal is not bureaucracy. The goal is velocity with clarity.
AI-Enabled Workflow Automation
- We expect this person to be hands-on with modern AI tools.
- You should be excited to use AI to automate research, outbound workflows, reporting, customer intelligence, CRM updates, meeting prep, and internal operating processes. We are not looking for someone who simply “uses ChatGPT.” We are looking for someone who can identify repeatable workflows and build lightweight systems that make the company faster.
- Experience with tools like Clay, Apollo, Zapier, Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, Salesforce, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar systems is helpful. More important is the instinct to automate repetitive work instead of accepting manual drag.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone early in their career but unusually high-agency, analytical, and operationally strong.
You may be a fit if you:
- Have 2–6 years of experience in business operations, consulting, startup operations, product operations, GTM operations, founder’s office, data/analytics, or a similarly demanding role
- Are comfortable working directly with a founder in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Can move between strategy and execution without getting precious about either
- Are highly organized and can build systems from scratch
- Are analytically strong and comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and AI tools
- Are commercially curious and interested in how early-stage companies find customers and learn from the market
- Communicate clearly, follow through reliably, and raise the quality of execution around you
- Are excited by enterprise AI, startup building, and the chance to take on broad responsibility early
- We care less about title pedigree and more about slope, judgment, ownership, and learning velocity.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a role for someone who wants a narrow job description.
It is not a role for someone who only wants to do strategy work, prepare slides, or sit in meetings. It is also not a role for someone who needs a mature operating environment, a large team, or a well-defined playbook.
You should expect to do a mix of high-level and very hands-on work. Some days you may help shape a commercial strategy discussion. Other days you may clean up CRM data, research accounts, prepare customer call notes, build an outbound list, or create a new operating dashboard.
That range is the job.
Why Join
This is a chance to join at the earliest stage of a company working on a hard and timely problem: how enterprises evaluate, select, and adopt AI systems with more rigor.
You will work directly with an experienced founder and founding team, get exposure to product, customers, go-to-market, fundraising, and company operations, and have a real opportunity to shape how the company operates from the beginning.
If you want a narrow role, this is probably not the right fit. If you want to become a high-leverage operator inside an ambitious early-stage company, this could be a very good fit.
