SoHo, New York (5 days on-site)  

$170,000 – $250,000 + meaningful equity  

Our Tech Practice at Sanderson King is currently partnering with a venture-backed, high-growth consumer platform to appoint a Chief of Staff to work directly with the founding team.  

This is a critical hire for a business that has already achieved strong early traction across multiple cities and is now entering its next phase of scale following recent funding.  

You’ll operate as a true extension of the founders - owning high-impact initiatives across hiring, analytics, and operations, while bringing structure and clarity to a fast-moving environment.

The Opportunity  

This role is designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to operate at the centre of a scaling company.  

You will:

  • Act as a force multiplier to the founders, taking ownership of their highest-priority initiatives  
  • Build and manage internal recruiting processes for key hires  
  • Use data (SQL) to analyse performance, uncover insights, and inform strategy  
  • Lead cross-functional operational projects, from financial planning to company-wide initiatives  
  • Prepare board-level materials and support strategic decision-making  

What They’re Looking For  

  • 3–12 years’ experience in high-growth, early-stage environments (Series A+)  
  • Background in marketplace or ops-heavy businesses (e.g. Uber, DoorDash, Airbnb, Instacart, etc.)  
  • Strong SQL and data analysis capability (non-negotiable)  
  • Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with ownership  
  • Experience across strategy, operations, and/or founder’s office roles  
  • Low ego, high agency, and willingness to get hands-on across all areas of the business
