Chief of Staff to the CEO

Overview
A large general contractor is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the CEO and drive execution across the organization. This individual will manage executive priorities, improve decision-making processes, coordinate strategic initiatives, and ensure accountability at the highest levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring priorities are executed efficiently.
- Prepare and refine executive materials, presentations, communications, and recommendations.
- Manage CEO meeting operations, including agendas, action items, governance, and follow-through.
- Coordinate board and leadership meeting materials and documentation.
- Drive alignment and accountability across key business initiatives.
- Partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable plans.
- Identify risks, remove obstacles, and ensure timely execution of priorities.
- Lead and mentor an Associate Chief of Staff while collaborating with executive support teams.
- Execute special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives on behalf of the CEO.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, business operations, strategy, or executive support role.
- Experience supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results through influence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Construction, real estate, engineering, or related industry experience preferred.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership and influence strategic initiatives across a leading construction organization.
Salary: $95,000 - $140,000 + EOY Bonus
