Why we need this role

This role is a trusted partner to the EVP Infrastructure sales and leadership team, enabling them to operate with clarity, pace and cohesion. The CoS dirves the operating rhythm of the function, translating strategy into prioritised plans and ensure alignment across regions and teams so commitments are delivered and business objectives are met.

The CoS acts as a force multiplier—anticipating needs, removing obstacles, driving execution, and enabling the EVP to focus on the highest-value decisions and relationships.

What You Will Do

  •  Strategic Leadership & Execution
  • Translate the EVP’s vision into actionable plans, frameworks, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive strategic initiatives across Infrastructure & Connectivity, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Lead cross-functional programmes that span commercial, product, operations, finance, and technology.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities early and provide recommendations to keep the organisation on track.
  •  Operational Rhythm & Organisational Effectiveness
  • Own the operating cadence for the EVP: leadership meetings, business reviews, board updates, and strategic offsites.
  • Ensure the EVP’s time, focus, and attention are optimised for maximum impact.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms that give the EVP real-time visibility into performance.
  • Drive accountability across teams by ensuring commitments are tracked, followed up, and delivered.
  •  Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a trusted representative of the EVP in senior forums, internal meetings, and external engagements.
  • Craft high-quality communications: board papers, executive updates, commercial narratives, and strategic presentations.
  • Act as a bridge between the EVP and senior leaders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistent messaging.
  • Manage sensitive information with absolute discretion and sound judgement.
  •  Commercial & Business Insight
  • Support the EVP in shaping commercial strategy across Infrastructure & Connectivity, including pricing, partnerships, customer strategy, and market positioning.
  • Analyse commercial performance, market trends, and competitive insights to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment prioritisation.
  •  Leadership Support & Team Enablement
  • Act as a sounding board and thought partner to the EVP on strategic, organisational, and people matters.
  • Help build a high-performing leadership team by improving collaboration, decision-making, and communication.
  • Support talent initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and organisational design.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy, commercial operations, or senior programme leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, connectivity, telecoms, or adjacent technology sectors.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesise complex information and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial analysis, business modelling, or commercial strategy.
