About Big Leap Health

Big Leap Health is an AI-enabled platform redefining breakthrough behavioral healthcare with our business-in-a-box offering. We partner with clinics across the country who are starting, growing and optimizing their interventional psychiatry practices — combining technology, clinical & operational expertise, and deep payer relationships to make high-quality mental healthcare more accessible. These aren't just treatments; they're gateways to resilience, empathy, hope, and strength.

We’re building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of in-person behavioral health — replacing administrative chaos with a connected, data-driven operating system that helps practices focus on what matters: patients.

We’ve raised $9M+ from top VCs and angels, have dozens of customers across the country and are rapidly growing.

The Role

As Chief of Staff, you’ll work directly with the CEO as an operator, strategist, and builder, turning ambiguity into clarity and driving key initiatives across product, operations, and partnerships.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of running a fast-growing digital startup — from fundraising and hiring to execution and scaling.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and loves turning ideas into structure & execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the CEO and COO on strategic planning, board/investor communications, quarterly objectives and special projects
  • Drive cross-functional execution, connecting product, operations & clinical to deliver results
  • Lead high-priority projects that don’t yet have a dedicated owner — building the systems and processes that allow Big Leap to continue to scale.
  • Turn ideas into action, from account management to data analytics to new business development.
  • Own the internal operating cadence (OKRs, leadership meetings, company-wide updates, and documentation).
  • Support hiring & org design as we scale, ensuring the right people & processes are in place.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CEO, identifying gaps, simplifying complexity, and helping anticipate what’s around the corner.

About You

  • Enjoys quickly converting ambiguity into structure and action
  • Embraces an ownership mentality, entrepreneurship and a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills
  • Strong technical proficiency (e.g., comfortable using Google Sheets and sales/marketing tools)
  • Passionate about the future of breakthrough mental healthcare treatment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high-performance culture
  • Experience working in digital health or can demonstrate evidence of quickly ramping up on new sectors
  • 4-8 years of experience working, as a full-time employee, in a fast growing VC-backed early-stage (Seed / Series A) startup
  • Excited to work in a hybrid work environment in the NYC area

Preferred:

  • Digital healthcare startup experience
  • Experience working with B2B
