About The Role

The Chief of Staff will serve as a trusted advisor and right hand to PsychPlus leadership, helping drive strategy, alignment, and execution across the organization. This position requires proven political experience at the highest levels—serving as Chief of Staff for a government elected official or in a senior leadership role on a political campaign. The Chief of Staff will act as a connector across teams, ensuring the leadership’s vision translates into measurable outcomes while keeping the organization aligned, focused, and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, helping to set and communicate organizational priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure execution of key projects and alignment with company goals.
  • Anticipate needs of leadership and proactively identify solutions to complex organizational challenges.
  • Manage executive communications, including speeches, briefings, and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with People Operations to build scalable processes for leadership visibility, accountability, and team cohesion.
  • Support the CEO in board, investor, and partner communications and ensure timely follow-through on critical actions.
  • Lead high-level project management, driving operational excellence across departments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chief of Staff to a government elected official or senior leader on a political campaign.
  • Exceptional organizational, political, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, writing, and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information

The expected base salary for this role is between $80,000 to $100,000 annually at the start of employment. Final base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors such as location and years of experience. In addition to compensation, PsychPlus Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan options, and other company-sponsored benefits.
