Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to the CEO

Be the Strategic Right Hand to a Visionary CEO

Golden Platter Foods — a fast-growing, third-generation food manufacturer with a bold vision for the future — is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as Executive Assistant to the CEO / Chief of Staff. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on complexity, brings order to chaos, and operates with speed, discretion, and sharp strategic judgment.

This isn’t a support role. It’s a command-center role.

You’ll be the connective tissue between vision and execution — handling what the CEO can’t, seeing around corners, and keeping the company aligned and moving forward. You’ll manage priorities, prep high-stakes meetings, distill insights, and ensure that what matters most actually gets done. You’ll also have a seat at the table as a thought partner, sounding board, and force multiplier.

About Golden Platter Foods

Golden Platter Foods is a purpose-driven, innovation-led food company based in Newark, NJ. We produce better-for-you frozen protein products and serve some of the largest retailers in the country. We’re growing fast, launching bold new product platforms, and expanding operations — all with a clear mission: to create awe-inspiring food experiences at scale.

Led by CEO Scott Bennett — who has been at the helm for 35 years — the company has grown from a single facility to a multi-plant national platform. Scott is a hands-on leader who invests deeply in mentorship and believes in developing talent from within. If you’re hungry to grow, this role will challenge and shape you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as an extension of the CEO: prioritize, protect time, and drive execution across all domains
  • Own meeting flow: prep agendas, synthesize notes, track outcomes, and follow through relentlessly
  • Anticipate issues before they arise — from operational bottlenecks to communication gaps
  • Partner with leadership to move initiatives forward and ensure cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate key communications and company-wide messaging
  • Serve as liaison with top stakeholders, both internal and external

You Might Be the One If You:

  • Operate with intensity, precision, and emotional intelligence
  • Know how to make a CEO better by thinking three steps ahead and asking the right questions
  • Have a background in operations, consulting, startups, or fast-paced leadership environments
  • Are obsessed with outcomes and allergic to “just being busy”
  • Write exceptionally well, think critically, and stay calm under pressure
  • Are hungry to learn, build, and be trusted with more

This Role Is Not:

  • A stepping stone. It’s a launchpad.
  • About calendar management. It’s about executive function at scale.
  • A 9-to-5. It’s a front-row seat to leadership — and the accountability that comes with it.

Location & Logistics:

  • Based in Newark, NJ (On-Site)
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunity for long-term growth
