Stage Chief of Staff

Job Description:

VistIQ is building the reference intelligence platform for investment teams (VC / Private Equity): portfolio lifecycle management, portfolio monitoring, signal detection, due diligence and LP reporting. Backed by Founders Future, the company is actively building out its product, its operations and its commercial traction.

In this high-growth context, we are looking for a Chief of Staff (long-term internship) to work directly alongside leadership across all strategic and operational workstreams. This is a rare exposure role: you sit at the heart of the company, working on cross-functional topics spanning product, operations, finance and investor relations.

The role:

The Chief of Staff acts as a true right hand: amplifying leadership's execution capacity, smoothing coordination across teams (product, tech, finance, advisory) and independently owning high-stakes projects. This is not an observation role — we expect someone able to frame a problem, produce a high-quality deliverable and move topics forward without constant supervision.

The scope is deliberately broad and will evolve with priorities and the person's appetite. In practice, the mission is structured around five main areas.

The mission:

1. Strategic support & leadership leverage

   • Prepare key meetings: leadership committees, investor updates, board — agendas, materials, minutes and decision follow-up.

   • Frame and drive cross-functional projects (product, go-to-market, operations): scoping, planning, stakeholder coordination, progress tracking.

   • Produce synthesis notes and recommendations to inform leadership's decisions and trade-offs.

1. Operations & coordination

   • Streamline day-to-day operations: vendor management (agencies, freelancers, tech partners), contract and amendment tracking with the finance/admin team.

   • Structure and automate internal processes (Notion, AI tools, task-tracking and reporting workflows).

   • Ensure information flows across teams and make sure no topic falls through the cracks.

1. Business intelligence & analysis

   • Run market studies, benchmarks and competitive intelligence on the VC/PE ecosystem and investment-intelligence solutions.

   • Analyse data (product KPIs, commercial pipeline, fund data) and turn it into actionable recommendations.

   • Contribute to financial and legal analysis on portfolio topics (cap tables, convertible instruments, deal structures) — a strong differentiator.

1. Product & client experience

   • Contribute to product specifications and coordinate with the tech team and UX/UI agencies.

   • Gather and structure user feedback to feed the roadmap.

1. Communication & investor relations

   • Prepare investor and commercial materials (decks, pitches, memos) in the VistIQ brand identity, in both French and English.

   • Contribute to external communication and to shaping the company's key messages.

The profile we are looking for

Above all, we are looking for a personality: rigorous, autonomous, comfortable with the ambiguity of a startup environment, and able to juggle a wide range of topics.

   • Education: student at a top business school (HEC or equivalent), on a gap year or in the final year of studies.

   • Analytical mindset: ability to structure a complex problem and produce clear, high-quality deliverables.

   • Autonomy & reliability: we can hand you a topic and count on clean, on-time execution.

   • Versatility: appetite to move between strategic and operational work, from product to finance.

   • Interest in finance / VC-PE: a first exposure (internship, club, project) is a real plus.

   • Comfort with tools & AI: Notion, office suite, and curiosity for AI tools applied to productivity.

   • Languages: fluent French and English (written and spoken).
