Description

The Chief of Staff acts as the strategic architect and operational anchor of the business. You will be responsible for translating long-term vision into actionable roadmaps, managing the rigor of the company’s delivery cadence, and optimizing unit economics to ensure sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities1. Strategic Planning & Governance

  • Vision Translation: Convert the company mission into annual and quarterly strategic pillars.
  • KPI Architecture: Design and assign key performance indicators across all departments to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment.
  • The "Drumbeat": Own the annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring senior leadership remains disciplined in their execution.
  • Board Reporting: Synthesize complex data into a compelling narrative for Board meetings, working closely with Finance.
  • M&A Integration Lead (UK): Own the post-merger integration (PMI) project, acting as the key bridge between the Board and the newly acquired entities. This includes owning the master timeline, budget, and delivering on synergy targets, ensuring the new entities are integrated into the company culture and operational structure.

  1. Operational Excellence & Finance

  • Budgetary Oversight: Manage OpEx and SaaS expenditures, ensuring the business remains lean and within forecasted targets.
  • Resource Planning: Lead hiring strategies and headcount forecasting in alignment with the budget.

  1. Organizational Leadership & Comms

  • Internal Communications: Act as the primary voice for strategy, ensuring every employee understands their role in the company’s success.
  • People & Culture: Provide "virtual leadership" to HR, overseeing the cultural calendar, social initiatives, and the annual company kickoff.
  • Meeting Architecture: Design and manage the corporate meeting cadence (Town Halls, SLT Offsites, etc.) to prevent organizational friction.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strategic Rigor: Proven experience in a "Chief of Staff" or Ops Lead role within a scaling business - min 5-7 years experience
  • Financial Literacy: Comfort managing P&L inputs, SaaS optimization, and budget forecasting.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and manage Board-level reporting.
  • M&A Integration: Direct experience leading or playing a critical role in post-merger integration (PMI) projects, specifically managing the integration timeline, budget, and culture alignment.
  • Operational Tooling: Expert knowledge of project management frameworks (OKRs, EOS, or similar) and BI tools.
