About The Company

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment.

That is…until now.

Enter Lyric: Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds:

  • Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus
  • A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence

With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed—they get both.

The Mission: We’re building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again.

Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, Nike, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can’t wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us!

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as Chief of Staff to the CEO. As the Chief of Staff, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration across the organization. This is a high-impact role perfect for someone looking to accelerate their career and make meaningful contributions in our next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead our Founder's Office (Strategic Projects Team), taking ownership of top business priorities that require rapid 0-to-1 execution, including projects like new market GTM strategies, product pricing strategy, future acquisitions, market research, vendor operations, and business development.
  • Design and execute leadership operating model (weekly meetings, quarterly offsites, executive coaching program management, etc.).
  • Drive business and operations acceleration across all functions, leveraging AI and implementing automations to remove bottlenecks and instill process improvements for HR, G&A, Product, and Sales teams.
  • Facilitate company-wide weekly all-hands and architect goal-setting and OKR frameworks.

About You

  • 6-12+ years of experience in operations and/or strategy work (i.e. management consulting, operations at a high-growth tech company, investment banking or a combination).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and effectively partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and delivering results.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

We’re Also Looking For

  • AI-native mindset: You naturally integrate AI tools into your thinking and workflows to amplify your capabilities. Rather than just using AI occasionally, you think alongside it to accelerate documentation, build smarter systems, and make better decisions.
  • Excel in high-growth, ambiguous environments: You take ownership of bringing clarity and momentum to uncertain situations. You're systems-oriented, creating structure where there's chaos and driving progress where there's stagnation.
  • Experience with global teams: You can work effectively across geographies and cultures, building strong relationships with distributed teams. With Lyric's growing presence in both the US and India, you know how to maintain alignment, foster inclusive communication, and collaborate to drive results.

Even if you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications, we recommend applying to the role!

Location

Remote - US; strong preference for Pacific Standard (PST) or Mountain Standard Timezones

Compensation

The annual base compensation range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000. Base compensation will be determined based on years of experience, qualifications of the individual, and alignment with role requirements. In addition to base cash compensation, this position includes 20% variable compensation earned based on individual and business performance. You will also have the opportunity to receive equity in Lyric.

Compensation Range: $160K - $210K
