Fruitist seeks a highly capable, strategic, and exceptionally organized Chief of Staff to the COO. This role blends high-impact strategic support with high-efficiency executive enablement—ensuring our COO is focused, informed, and empowered to lead across our global operations.
As Chief of Staff, you’ll drive research, decision-making, and operational alignment across initiatives and regions. You’ll also directly manage the COO’s schedule, communications, and executive logistics—ensuring operational flow and protecting the COO’s time for the highest-value priorities.
This is an ideal role for an analytically strong operator who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and behind-the-scenes execution, and a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a transformative CPG company operating at the intersection of food, technology, and sustainability.
This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Los Angeles HQ.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a thought partner and force multiplier to the COO across all operational and strategic priorities.
- Prepare and synthesize materials for executive meetings, board updates, QBRs, and investor sessions.
- Own the operating rhythm of the COO function—managing cadences, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring initiative momentum.
- Manage and optimize the COO’s complex calendar across time zones and business units; ensure priorities are reflected in scheduling.
- Triage, manage, and respond to high-volume email communications—drafting replies, flagging critical messages, and maintaining flow.
- Ensure the COO’s time and energy are focused on the highest-leverage issues; anticipate needs and preempt friction.
- Act as liaison between the COO and functional/country teams—ensuring information flows clearly and decisions are actioned.
- Provide leverage to the COO through proactive management of time, focus, and strategic bandwidth.
What You’ll Need
- 6–10+ years in strategic and/or executive support roles (e.g., management consulting, corporate strategy, BizOps, and/or EA to C-suite).
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, dynamic workflows.
- High EQ, confidentiality, and diplomacy; able to represent the COO with credibility.
- Bias for action, ownership mindset, and comfort navigating across strategy and operations.
- Understands how to move both big ideas and small tasks forward—seamlessly.
- Connects dots across teams, geographies, and systems to create coherence.
