eCarsTrade is a digital car marketplace serving professional buyers in more than 40 countries. Through our online auction platform, we offer over 15,000 vehicles per week, sourced from leading fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, as well as banks and dealerships.

Over the last 3 years, we have delivered 50% YoY profitable growth, building a leading market position in Europe. As we enter our next phase of scale and operational maturity, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to help drive focus, alignment and execution across the company.

The Role

​

As Chief of Staff you will support the CEO, to whom you report directly, on key company initiatives and in his daily operations. As an intrapreneur, you’ll take ownership of multiple projects and deliver business value by creating, optimizing and monitoring various processes, projects and products. You will identify improvement areas across all departments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will assist the CEO in driving performance management and implement OKR frameworks.  

This is a highly impactful role combining strategy, execution, and leadership support.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Partner closely with the CEO to shape, prioritize and communicate the company's strategic agenda and support daily operations  
• Lead and execute key company initiatives and cross-functional projects  
• Build and run the performance management mechanism  
• Implement OKR framework  
• Track progress against objectives and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or deviations to ensure follow-through on executive decisions  
• Improve alignment and efficiency across departments  
• Act as a central communication link between the CEO, leadership team and the wider organization, ensuring consistent messaging around priorities, performance and decisions  
• Prepare presentations, market research and benchmarks for executive leadership and strategic decision-making  
• Identify new growth and revenue opportunities  
• Represent the company externally and build strategic partnerships  
• Reinforce the culture of ownership, accountability and transparency while supporting leadership effectiveness and strategic hiring decisions

Your Profile

​

• Genuine intrapreneur, profile with 4-8 years of experience in top-tier investment banking/PE, strategy consultancy or fast-growing scale-up technology companies  
• Experience in representing companies to senior external stakeholders  
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders  
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen and data analysis capabilities  
• Excellent project leadership, structured problem-solving  
• Understanding of performance management, OKR frameworks  
• Outstanding communication and synthesis capabilities with the ability to prepare high-quality strategic materials  
• Highly organized, resilient and able to thrive in ambiguity  
• Ability to build bridges across departments  
• Socially astute, collaborative and pragmatic with high integrity and discretion  
• High learning agility and adaptability  
• A STEM or other highly quantitative degree from a top-tier university is preferred
