The Strategic Role

We're seeking a Chief of Staff to build and optimize the operational systems that enable our CFO team to deliver exceptional client value. This role is central to our growth strategy - creating the systematic foundation that allows our finance professionals to focus on high-value strategic work rather than administrative tasks.

What You'll Build  

Process Architecture  

  • Design systematic workflows for client onboarding, delivery, and retention  
  • Build scalable systems that maintain quality while enabling growth  
  • Create automation frameworks that eliminate repetitive tasks  
  • Establish quality assurance processes for consistent service delivery  

Revenue Operations  

  • Optimize accounts receivable processes and aging management  
  • Implement systematic collection workflows and client communication  
  • Build performance dashboards and KPI tracking systems  
  • Streamline vendor management and partner relationships  

Technology Integration  

  • Leverage automation tools (CRM, ERP, workflow platforms) for operational efficiency  
  • Integrate AI-enhanced processes where appropriate to improve delivery  
  • Ensure seamless data flow between systems and stakeholders  
  • Build reporting capabilities that provide actionable insights  

Client Experience Enhancement  

  • Develop systematic approaches to client lifecycle management  
  • Create communication frameworks that build trust and retention  
  • Implement feedback loops for continuous service improvement  
  • Coordinate between internal team members and client stakeholders

What We're Looking For  

Professional Services Foundation  

  • 5+ years operations management in professional services, consulting, or finance  
  • Direct experience with CFO services, accounting firms, or similar client delivery environments  
  • Proven track record managing client relationships with focus on retention and satisfaction  
  • Quality control experience maintaining high standards while improving efficiency  

Systems & Operations Expertise  

  • Process design - ability to architect systematic workflows from scratch  
  • Automation mindset - comfortable implementing technology solutions for efficiency  
  • Integration perspective - understands how systems connect and reinforce each other  
  • Scalability focus - builds for growth, not just current needs  

Revenue Operations Experience  

  • Accounts receivable management - systematic collection processes and aging  
  • Vendor relationship optimization - partner management and revenue collection  
  • Performance measurement - KPIs, dashboards, and systematic reporting  
  • Financial operations - revenue recognition and reporting in professional services  

Technology Comfort  

  • Platform experience with CRM, ERP, and workflow automation tools  
  • Data organization - skilled in analysis, reporting, and insight generation  
  • AI integration - comfortable working with AI-enhanced processes where appropriate  
  • Systems thinking - understands technology as enabler of systematic operations
