Who You Are
This role will have primary responsibility for all medical aspects pertaining to assigned clinical studies in multiple oncology indications. This role works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of studies conducted within the oncology portfolio to ensure the program meets the needs of patients and the business. This role will influence both internal and external audiences in a high-impact, prominent role as it actively contributes to the dynamic and innovative culture within BridgeBio.
Requirements
- Operational management of the CMDO office and program management, including stakeholder management within drug development.
- Support the CMDO leadership team in establishing strategic goals for development and setting priorities
- Lead and drive departmental processes such as conference guidance, department meetings/activities,
- Develop processes to support execution of development programs and ensure clear communication within Development organization and cross-functionally
- Develop department level budget plan and hiring plan according to business needs
- Development of the overall project plan for each molecule
- Liaison/partner between functional areas, including clinical science, operations, regulatory, medical affairs, manufacturing, commercial, and other functions
- Ensure successful, well-run meetings in partnership with the CMDO and key stakeholders
- Drive agenda setting and allocate time appropriately across topics, provide context to agenda topics, and draft post-meeting minutes
- Lead initiatives and continuous improvement related to business operations, including establishing best practices and assessing key performance metrics
- Support project teams with protocol development and implementation, regulatory submissions, data review and analysis, publication for key congresses, and preparation for, and organization of, advisory boards and health authority interactions.
- A strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech industry, drug development process and trends, and business strategy
- The ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence effectively across levels and functions
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- An innovative mindset, with an ability to embrace change, respect differences of opinion, communicate openly and build consensus
- Evidence of strong strategic thinking, communication, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication and proven ability to foster and build important relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Advanced degree in science, business, engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years’ experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience may also be considered
- At least 3 years of experience leading large scale strategic initiatives in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry
- Candidate must have ability to travel internationally and domestically as required
