About The Role

VP, Strategy & Transformation

The VP, Strategy & Transformation, will drive the Americas Transformation Program Office (TPO), leading strategic transformation initiatives, focused capability development, and business change. She/He will support the Regional President and the market Managing Directors in strategic and business transformation projects. The role reports to the Americas Regional President and is part of the Americas Leadership Team.

Accountabilities

  • Management of the Transformation Program Office, with identifying, implementing, tracking, and reporting on various strategic initiatives against regional priorities and set goals
  • Managing Project and Program managers, with cross-market and cross-functional expertise, and ensure on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery of identified projects
  • Partner cross-functionally and with high resourcefulness and agility to drive key initiatives across the region and achieve the Americas and Dyson’s global vision and strategy
  • Interface and influence global functions to land key global and local business change initiatives
  • Taking the lead on critical projects related to the transformation of the business and bring together different change and business initiatives into an integrated transformation journey for the business
  • Work closely with the regional president for Americas, market Managing Directors, and wider Leadership team to review and shape compelling strategies and tactics that are aligned with the overall Americas goals and targets
  • Critical stakeholder in managing Americas representation to the Executive Committee, Board Members, CEO, and Founder
  • Being involved as part of the global team in further shaping the corporate transformation and contributing holistically on a range of business issues as they arise
  • Nurturing a team with a strong strategic mindset operating in a collaborative manner within the organization

Professional Experience

  • Ownership and parallel execution of multiple large-scale strategic initiatives
  • Experience using project and portfolio management methodologies
  • Multi-stakeholder management
  • Industry experience of: Retail or Consumer facing products; Beauty; Premium consumer electronics; Direct-to-consumer, heavy E-Commerce company; Strategy consulting at a top-tier firm; Corporate strategy role inside a large company; Relevant scope, scale, and complexity with a similar global business
