Chief of Staff
About the Role
We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to join the founding team and work directly with the CEO. This role is a force multiplier - helping drive the company’s top priorities, creating leverage across the organization, and ensuring Neon Blue executes with focus and speed as we scale.
You’ll operate at the center of the business, with hands-on exposure to customers, product, go-to-market, and operations. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to learn how an early-stage AI company is built and is excited to wear many hats.
Responsibilities
Customer & Go-To-Market Enablement
- Work directly with customers to ensure successful product deployment, adoption, and satisfaction
- Support onboarding, implementation, and early use cases in partnership with product and engineering
- Prepare and run product demos; develop sales decks, case studies, and customer-facing materials
- Gather customer feedback and insights and feed them back into product and GTM strategy
Founder Leverage
- Support go-to-market execution, including booking calls, preparing materials, and conducting market and customer research
- Operate across functions as needed (hiring coordination, basic HR, finance and accounting support)
- Represent the company in meetings with customers, follow-ups, and internal coordination when appropriate
Marketing & Growth Support
- Help drive marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and early campaign execution
- Coordinate content, launches, and experiments across email, lifecycle, and other GTM channels
- Support partner and co-marketing initiatives as delegated by the CEO
Operational Excellence
- Build lightweight processes that scale with the company without slowing velocity
- Anticipate and resolve operational issues impacting customers, execution, or internal efficiency
- Improve internal cadence around metrics, planning, and communication
Special Projects
- Lead high-impact, ambiguous projects without a clear owner (GTM initiatives, marketing experiments, sales enablement, fundraising support)
- Run point on partnerships, research, and external opportunities as delegated by the CEO
About You
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a founder, early startup employee, or in consulting, operations, or a high-ownership role
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex ideas clearly
- Analytical and structured; comfortable working with data and lightweight financial models
- Strong project management; able to take initiatives from 0→1 with minimal oversight
- Comfortable working directly with customers and customer-facing teams
Mindset
- Founder-like: bias to action, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity
- Low ego, high ownership; no task is beneath you
- Curious, fast learner who enjoys being close to customers and product
