Chief of Staff to SVP of Operations – Strategic Development Opportunity

Based in Conshohocken, PA | $85K–$105K + Bonus Eligible | In-office 4x/Week, 1 remote

Morgan Properties is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with our Senior Vice President of Operations in Conshohocken, PA. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver with exceptional communication skills and a passion for operational excellence.

This high-trust, high-impact position is designed to give a rising leader unparalleled exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise-level decision-making. You’ll serve as a strategic advisor and right hand to the SVP—helping to drive focus, remove roadblocks, and ensure our operational priorities stay aligned and moving forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and step into operational gaps across departments to maintain momentum on high-priority initiatives
  • Monitor cross-functional projects, providing structure, visibility, and follow-through from start to execution
  • Refine tools, workflows, and processes that impact the SVP’s office to maximize strategic efficiency
  • Manage the SVP’s calendar and priorities, protecting time for high-impact work and strategic engagement
  • Triage and manage high-volume communications on behalf of the SVP, handling lower-impact matters independently
  • Conduct research, synthesize findings, and deliver actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Maintain organized documentation of key decisions, planning cycles, and ongoing initiatives
  • Act as the SVP’s proxy in meetings, capturing key takeaways, ensuring alignment, and coordinating follow-ups
  • Draft internal and external communications with professionalism and clarity
  • Provide on-site leadership in the SVP’s absence, ensuring responsiveness and continuity across the office
  • Build relationships across teams, surface cultural and operational insights, and support team engagement
  • Handle sensitive personnel and organizational information with discretion and care
  • Offer input as a strategic thought partner, identifying blind spots and helping the SVP lead more effectively
  • Stay flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment, stepping into new priorities as the business evolves

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, business strategy, or program/project management
  • Prior experience supporting a senior level leader or working in a high-growth, cross-functional organization
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with focus and composure
  • Bachelor’s degree required; fields such as Business, Management, or related areas preferred
  • Valid & active driver's license

Salary range: $85,000-$105,000/yr

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
