Chief of Staff
The role
Health Partners is going through an exciting growth strategy and we are hiring a Chief of Staff to sit at the heart of that growth. You will support our leadership team in developing strategy, then take a lead role in delivering high impact initiatives. The role is extremely varied in its requirements as you’ll own the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group. Between deals, you’ll lead priority projects across our four business units. It’s a broad, highly visible role with real exposure to our leadership team and investors.
What you’ll do
- Support the leadership team in developing strategy and breaking down the strategy into growth projects, being instrumental in helping to deliver them.
- Own the integration of newly acquired businesses, from completion through to them being fully embedded into the group by building plans, tracking milestones and keeping every workstream moving by bringing together teams across clinical, operations, finance, IT and people.
- Be responsible for tracking the value and synergies each project was set up to achieve, reporting progress to the board and developing a repeatable integration playbook that makes each deal smoother than the last.
- Run cross-functional initiatives, including process improvement, operational change and system rollouts which will bring structure and momentum to projects that need a dedicated owner and act as a go-to project management resource for the business units.
What we’re looking for
You’ll love bringing order to chaos and tracking projects through to completion and will have:
- Strong project and programme management skills, and a track record of getting things done.
- Experience delivering M&A or post-merger integration, in-house or advisory.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, recognising that this role delivers through influence rather than direct management.
- Confidence and credibility with senior leaders.
- Comfort moving between teams, sites and stakeholders.
- A self-directed, well-organised and delivery-focused approach.
- Ideally experience in healthcare, occupational health or multi-site services, but not essential.
Location
Based at our London Head office with travel to our business units.
Hours
This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Salary and benefits
We are offering a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
- Contributory pension scheme (up to 6%) and life assurance.
- Cycle to work scheme and discounted gym membership.
- Birthday day off (non-contractual).
