Join our Go-To-Market Team!

As a Go-To-Market Chief-of-Staff at Monta, you will serve as a critical advisor and right hand to our CRO and CMO, particularly focusing on marketing, sales development, sales, partnerships/channel, and customer success strategies. This role demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams in a B2B space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business consulting, blended with substantial experience in industry roles, demonstrating the capability to lead at the intersection of strategy and execution

Monta is the operating platform powering the EV ecosystem serving drivers, companies, cities, and the electricity grid with one integrated software solution.

At our core, we make EV charging simple, accessible, and reliable. Our software enables a consistent charging experience across all charge point brands and we empower charge point owners with a full-fledged solution to attract users and seamlessly manage usage, pricing, availability, and transactions.

We've closed a huge Series B round! 80M EUR and soaring! Our journey so far? An expansion across various markets, prestigious #ISO27001 and B-Corp certifications, and proactive tech revolutionizing the EV charging experience. Not to mention, our growth has skyrocketed 6X since the last round, nearing 1 million monthly charging sessions, and 1,000 #EV drivers joining us daily! Monta will use the EUR 80M funding to double down on its successful software-only strategy by strengthening investments in all markets and improving and expanding its product to new sectors ready to embark on an electrified future.

(Some of) the things you will be working on:

  • Serve as the primary liaison within GTM and cross-functional teams they interact with, identifying and addressing any misalignments in strategies, goals, or processes to ensure seamless collaboration and maximize overall efficiency and effectiveness in achieving revenue targets
  • Facilitate strategic discussions among senior leadership to drive decision-making and alignment on key initiatives
  • Ensure strategic objectives are translated into actionable plans with clear accountability, driving execution and operational excellence
  • Develop and refine board materials, including narrative structures and presentation decks, to effectively communicate strategy and performance
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring collaboration and efficiency across Marketing, Sales Development, Sales, Partnerships/Channel, Support, Account Management, and Customer Success
  • Partnering with Revenue Operations, analyze market trends and internal data to inform strategic planning and go-to-market strategies

  • Improving key Go-To-Market metrics QoQ
  • Improving Executive preparedness and time efficiencies, including board narrative creation
  • Drive higher revenue growth by impacting market penetration strategy

The salary range for this role is €80,000-€100,000 depending on experience.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in Strategy, Sales or Marketing Operations, Finance, Business Consulting, or related fields, with a strong preference for former business consultants
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a leadership or strategic role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional ability to guide and align C-level executives and teams around strategic initiatives, fostering a unified approach to achieving business goals
  • Proven track record in facilitating strategic discussions, driving decision-making processes, and ensuring organizational alignment on key initiatives
  • Experience working in a global capacity, across different time zones/languages/countries
  • Demonstrated skill in creating impactful board-level content, including narrative structuring and presentation decks, with a keen ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Deep understanding of at least 2-3 of the following areas: Marketing, Sales Development, Enablement, Sales, Partnerships/Channel, Customer Success, with a holistic view of how these functions drive business growth
  • Exposure to designing and implementing enablement programs or initiatives that enhance team performance and operational efficiency is highly regarded. This experience showcases an ability to translate strategic vision into actionable, empowering practices that drive success
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and analytical skills, complemented by a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
