Role & Responsibilities

Beam is on a mission to shift $10B from brands to high-impact nonprofits by creating what loyalty would look like if it were designed for today’s customers.

This is a unique opportunity to have a massive individual impact: our products have rapidly scaled to millions of users, driving tremendous resources to nonprofits and inspiring more people to start making a bigger impact every day.

The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the CEO and executive team, helping to drive clarity, alignment, and execution across the company - enabling Beam to scale rapidly without losing focus or mission alignment.

This is a highly strategic and execution-heavy role. You’ll be at the center of decision-making and operations, including, but not limited to:

  • Working closely with the CEO and leadership team to define company OKRs, identify highest-leverage priorities, and ensure the company stays on track to meet them.  
  • Serving as a central point of coordination across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to keep teams aligned, accountable, and communicating effectively.  
  • Supporting the CEO in decision-making, communication, and follow-through on key initiatives. Prepping for board meetings, investor updates, and executive communications.  
  • Owning special projects that don’t sit neatly within one department but are critical to Beam’s growth.  
  • Helping build and reinforce strong communication norms, operating cadences, and a mission-driven culture across the team. 

About You

You may have startup, consulting, operations, product, or strategy experience - but what sets you apart is your ability to drive clarity, communicate with influence, and execute relentlessly.

We’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience: ideally including a mix of startup, consulting, strategy, or operations work (Bonus: You've worked closely with executive teams or in high-growth, mission-driven environments.)
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability
  • A bias toward execution and mission-driven mindset 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Unlimited PTO: All Beam team members are entitled to unlimited paid time off, with a requirement to take a minimum of two weeks per year.

REPORTING

You will initially report to Beam’s CEO and then to Head of Sales.

Compensation

Your total compensation consists of four parts: base salary, performance based bonus at on-target earnings, partial 401k match, and stock options.

Total cash compensation for this role is $170,000 - $180,000 OTE per year.
