Chief of Staff
Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It
We’re looking for a sharp, fast-learning operator to step in as Chief of Staff to the founders. This isn’t a “note-taking, calendar-managing” kind of gig. This is central command.
You'll be the connective tissue across the company—leading high-leverage projects, fixing what’s broken, and building the systems that help us scale from scrappy to unstoppable. You’ll act as a second brain (and sometimes second heart) for the founders, working on what matters most—before anyone has to ask.
You’ll be trusted with real responsibility from day one. Think of it as a founder apprenticeship—with teeth.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Be the founders' force multiplier—cut through noise, create clarity, and keep the machine running.
- Support and lead high-stakes projects: market launches, hiring blitzes, GTM experiments, investor ops—you’ll touch it all.
- Help drive the internal operating system: OKRs, team rituals, planning docs, and internal comms.
- Work on board prep, investor comms, and fundraising workflows—build the deck, write the update, keep it tight.
- Build and improve workflows across product, ops, sales, and people—so things don’t break as we grow.
- Step into high-priority gaps: draft a legal doc, close a candidate, organize a founder briefing—whatever moves the needle.
- Maintain dashboards and reports that keep the team aligned on what’s working, what’s blocked, and what’s next.
- Organize and run key external events—founder dinners, investor roundtables, client showcases.
- Build and engage our early community of enterprise leaders, AI builders, and ecosystem partners.
- Work across time zones, tools, and teams—always one step ahead of the problem.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in fast-paced, high-context environments (early-stage startup, VC ops, consulting, or founder’s office).
- You’re a strong generalist: sharp thinker, fast writer, good with people, and quick on your feet.
- You’ve taken vague problems and figured them out—without being told how.
- You’re calm under pressure and biased toward action.
- You communicate clearly—whether writing a team doc or jumping into a partner call.
- You’re organized, detail-obsessed, and deeply accountable for outcomes.
- You’re hungry to learn, and unafraid to be dropped into the deep end.
Bonus
- You’ve worked directly with founders or exec teams.
- You’ve helped organize events or built communities (even informally).
- You’ve used Notion, Airtable, or similar tools to keep things running.
- You understand the basics of GTM, fundraising, and startup operations.
- You’ve shipped side projects or helped build something from scratch.
