We are looking for an experienced operational leader to join our organization as the Chief of Staff to the CEO. The candidate will be a core member of the executive leadership team and preside over People processes, executive strategic planning cadences, critical operational cadences, and special projects.

The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of exceptional operational and communication skills combined with the drive and desire to work within a fast-paced, scaling startup. We are looking for a strong bias for action and a relentless need to move the needle combined with the organizational discipline to define and measure how much the needle has moved. Position will have personnel management responsibilities over Human Resources.

Responsibilities

This position has broad responsibilities across the business's functional areas:

  • People: Ownership of talent acquisition, human resources, culture, performance management, and the promotion of Green Irony's employment brand in the market. Management of HR and TA internal personnel and external relationships.
  • Executive: Ownership of executive cadences, including strategic planning and alignment
  • Operations: Ownership of key organizational cadences like revenue and resource forecasting
  • Special Projects: Own and drive key organizational initiatives on behalf of the CEO

Finer-grained responsibilities include:

  • HR policy and back office operations, including payroll and PEO relationships
  • Talent acquisition processes, including job postings, interview processes & QA, resume and first interview screening
  • Employee Onboarding process & execution
  • Maintaining cultural cadences and events like All Hands, Fireside Chats, and Semi-annual events
  • Cultural health, including surveys and action plans to address key issues
  • Performance management processes & execution
  • Running all weekly and monthly executive & core operational cadences and producing desired outcomes
  • Company-wide communication

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in a technology-related role
  • At least 5 years in an operational or people role
  • At least 2 years of personnel management experience
  • Startup experience preferred
  • A demonstrated history of performance in similar roles
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Discipline and organization skills
  • Energized working within a fast-paced environment
  • Alignment to Green Irony Core Values
  • Ability to travel up to 20% if required
  • Experience on a startup ELT preferred
