Chief of Staff

Job Summary

As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with our COO/CFO and members of the OCEO, addressing all business needs. You will drive key projects and business priorities by providing insights, feedback, and support across all areas, from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities

Prioritization

Assist in prioritizing the COO/CFO's responsibilities, ensuring continuous and effective prioritization.

Meetings

Attend meetings with leadership, advisors, and key partners, extracting, recording, and executing pertinent information.

Strategic Initiatives

Drive strategic business initiatives and manage projects from development to execution.

Cross-Departmental Alignment

Work with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Decision-Making

Facilitate strategic decision-making and program management, ensuring effective communication.

Process Evaluation

Continuously evaluate and audit processes, recommending and implementing solutions.

Communication

Liaise between staff, executives, senior leaders, and the CEO.

HR Collaboration

Collaborate with HR to assist in onboarding, documentation, and integration.

Administrative Duties

Manage strategic calendar, generate correspondence, and handle internal and external communication.

Relationship Building

Cultivate and strengthen relationships at all levels to foster trust and collaboration.

Research and Analysis

Assist in researching revenue opportunities, economic trends, and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Understanding of financial principles, including budgeting and planning
  • General knowledge of the CPG space and lifecycle (Development, Introduction, Growth, Maturity)
  • Experience in organizing, directing, and executing across multiple teams with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan and lead strategic initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versatile abilities with a dedication to efficient productivity and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance empathy and kindness with driving towards tight deadlines and changing business needs
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Airtable, Notion, etc., with a quick learning ability
  • Growth mindset and resourcefulness
  • High EQ and interpersonal skills
  • Solutions-oriented with a propensity towards action and resolution
