This position will play an important role in T-Mobile's Office of the CFO

The Office of the CFO, as an organization, is responsible for planning and directing all strategic and operational tasks for the SLT leader, shaping, and ensuring successful execution against SLT priorities and assisting the VP, Finance Strategy & Transformation in guiding the EVP's strategic agenda. The Director, Chief of Staff supports planning and execution for strategic and operational activities aimed at maximizing time spent and quality of discussion for the SLT leader they support. A successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset to a high-stake operating role, leveraging existing management systems while identifying and solving against gaps in process, workflow, and information sharing. Additionally, this role coordinates and drives projects of high importance and high visibility and requires a high degree of business acumen, discretion, urgency, and strong project management skills to be successful. For the driven candidate, this position offers access to the broad company view and the ability to make an impact and influence at the highest levels.

Essential to the position is the ability to develop and maintain highly constructive cross functional relationships. Employee should possess strong communication skills, be milestone driven, agile, be able to juggle multiple and competing initiatives, and thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. Employee should have a strong understanding of the business, have experience managing and leading teams and must be able to create actionable plans for achieving broadly defined company objectives. Un-carrierÂź Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting an annual portfolio of cross-cutting priorities for the EVP and executing them through a variety of means, most of which require intensive collaboration with business teams across the organization.
  • Lead a team of high-performing individuals, all with strong generalist skillsets; coach and challenge the team to maximize their strengths by providing opportunities for skill and career advancement.
  • Deliver on special projects as assigned, using a creative and strategic approach to scoping and solving across a diverse range of subject matter.
  • Establish and manage a system for maximizing team “intelligence,” including capturing and contextualizing industry, societal, and internal T-Mobile trends while leading efforts to continuously improve the quality of work produced across the Office of the CFO.

The Experience You’ll Bring

  • More than 10 years of progressively more responsible management & leadership roles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, internally, upward and cross functionally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing; Masters/Advanced Degree in Business Finance, Marketing Preferred.
