About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to join our leadership team and play a critical role in driving the success of Fandom. As the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with our CEO and other senior executives, helping to drive operational efficiency, facilitate communication across the leadership teams, and lead key operational processes (e.g., business reviews, board preparation, etc). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of a fast-paced tech company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations on key business decisions.
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee critical processes and initiatives on behalf of the leadership team, ensuring they are executed effectively and on time. Drive accountability for high-quality and timely deliverables. This will include Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and alignment across various departments within the organization, serving as a bridge between executives and teams.
  • Communication: Prepare and coordinate high-level communications, presentations, and reports for the CEO and CFO, including board presentations, business review decks, and internal memos.
  • Decision Support: Collaborate with finance, research, and analytics teams to synthesize data and inform decision-making, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations. Work with key eStaff members on assessments of organic growth opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key leaders as well as partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline operations, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the company.

You Have

  • A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (Master's degree and military leadership a plus).
  • Proven experience in a strategic role, such as Chief of Staff, strategy consulting, or executive leadership.
  • Experience working across multiple business models and structures (e.g. understanding of commerce vs. media businesses and how to change approaches effectively/appropriately)
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, format information in a concise, clear manner and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills (e.g., influence v authority).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology and a strong understanding of the tech industry.
