Max Watkins

Born and raised in California with two forays to the East Coast for college and graduate school. I’ve split my career between early stage startups and Uber, where I spent four years both pre- and post-IPO in their SF and LA offices. Fun fact: I launched Uber Pet and Uber Ski. I’ve just graduated from the Yale School of Management with my MBA, where I focused on entrepreneurship and led the Private Equity & Venture Capital Club. Post-MBA, I’ve joined a seed-stage web3 startup called Apexti (note: Apexti is currently in stealth mode and the CEO has asked me not to update my LinkedIn until we emerge from stealth mode) as the CEO’s Chief of Staff. I’m the first non-technical hire and as such, I’m in charge of everything not directly related to the product or engineering. It’s an exciting time as the team works towards finding product market fit and the CEO relies on me to build out all aspects of the business and company.
