Laura is currently chief of staff at SIMULATE, a plant based food start up based in New York. Most recently, Laura was a post-mba intern at General Catalyst, where she worked as part of the early stage investment team on sourcing, evaluating and conducting due diligence on prospective consumer investments.
prior to her work at GC, she spent the past 2+ working for Rumble Boxing while also getting her MBA at Wharton. At Rumble, Laura was part of the strategic operations team, where she helped grow the company from 2 to 15 locations through a number of strategy, operations and business development initiatives. She was also a venture fellow for General Catalyst's student-led fund, Rough Draft Ventures, where she took on an important leadership role building out the infrastructure for our portfolio management, community building and alumni management. Beyond this, Laura is very interested and invested in the startup community in New York; on the side, she advises two wellness companies on their go-to-market and fundraising strategies. Previously, Laura worked for Hangar Management, a startup studio focused on regulated markets, served as a hybrid of Chief of Staff/Strategy associate at MediaLink, and began her career as an investment analyst at BlackRock.
