Amy Glancey

Let me introduce myself: My name is Amy. I like to talk. And tell stories. I do most things fast. I'm excited by change and the possibility of tomorrow. Here are some other things about me: - 15+ years in communications and government relations across the private and public sector - Experience in markets spanning APAC, U.S, and EMEA - I call Australia home but spend a lot of time on planes BIO: Amy has an undergraduate degree in Communications and Masters in Journalism (both with Distinction) and has 15 years of communications and marketing experience spanning APAC, U.S.A, and UK. Amy joined Atlassian as Director of Communications in 2016 where she was responsible for driving communications and government relations. More recently Amy took on the Chief of Staff role at Atlassian supporting its Co-Founders and office of the CEOs. Prior to this, Amy was at Groupon for four years where she led the communications team across 14 markets in APAC. Some career highlights include: Mike Cannon-Brookes' TEDx talk on Imposter Syndrome; lighting up Atlassian's Sydney HQ with a giant rainbow in support of Same Sex Marriage; coining the term "obligifting"; breaking a world record; creating a movement around Fair Dinkum Power; and driving policy reform around skilled immigration in Australia. Amy is an avid storyteller and self-confessed coffee snob.
