The Role

  • The VP, Strategy for Nordic Europe (NEU) is a senior leader in the NEU business and a member of Nordic Europe’s senior leadership team. This leader will focus primarily on the creation and operational leadership of Nordic Europe in Ireland whilst supporting the broader NEU senior leadership team in improving regional strategy, processes and services to support a growing customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Kieran Hughes, President Nordic Europe and Middle East, the VP, Strategy will spend their time across four key areas:

  • NEU Business Operations

i. Working across the SLT to drive improvements in strategy, processes and services as NEU moves from start-up to SME.

ii. Supporting the NEU President in a Chief of Staff capacity where required.

  • Strategic Business Development

i. Working with the NEU President to build and grow NEU presence across the Island of Ireland.

ii. Increasing NEU brand presence on the Island of Ireland.

iii. “First-mile” interaction ownership, collaborating with colleagues across Nordic’s International team (Healthtech, Canada) to disseminate and share examples of EMR strategy, procurement and adoption from other, relevant, regions.

  • Client Executive

i. Acting as the primary point of contact for all prospects and customers in Ireland.

ii. Working cross-functionally across Nordic Europe to deliver against customer needs, specifically working with Talent, Consulting and Operations colleagues to develop strategic solutions for prospects.

iii. Operate as a Partner to existing customers, highlighting risks and owning any escalation response.

  • Procurement Advisory

i. Supporting NEU Delivery leaders through the delivery of procurement-focused advisory solutions to our customer base in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

ii. Acting as a single source of truth around UK/EU procurement and framework-orientated projects.

  • In collaboration with Delivery & Sales Leaders across Nordic Europe, assist in the execution of go to market plans for Nordic in Ireland. This may include:

• Market analysis & segmentation

• Focus account & field of play development

• Business Development strategy

• Development of communication plan and roll out for offerings & solution

• Pursuit leadership & support closing key deals as required

• Build a strategy to allow the business to avoid reliance on RFP’s

Key Performance Objectives, as directed by NEU President:

· Build and manage partner relationships throughout Ireland

· Collaborate with leadership to ensure that company vision is made clear in go to market activities

· Build regional infrastructure to enable smooth / successful entry to Ireland and growth therein

· Assist NEU President on M&A Sales integration & strategy

· Foster a supportive “team” culture, e.g., mutual respect, high ethics, integrity, collaboration, communication, and appreciation that inspires employees to achieve greater heights in performance and do their best work.

· Collaborate with leadership on staff retention and recruitment to build and maintain world class teams to meet in-region needs

· Working with the wider Nordic Europe Go to Market group, provide insights for the development and production of key marketing and branding content to raise the profile of Nordic – these to include social media, thought leadership, internal and external events and other online content

· Provide general leadership and mentoring support to sales and delivery teams across Nordic Europe

Desired Capabilities/Credentials/Experience:

· Experience as an operational leader of multi-national-focused professional services organization, practice, or region, with accountability for business strategy

· Experience in EHR/EPR procurement strategy and execution

· A strong track record as a recognised executive leader in multi-disciplinary, digital transformation teams in the NHS

· Dedicated global healthcare industry experience and market knowledge are strongly preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
