Your Role
At LI, we provide our Vice Presidents with opportunities beyond typical M&A mid-level roles in order to accelerate their professional development and maximize their career trajectory.
This mid-level role within Business Services entails working closely with the firm’s Managing Directors, especially in the Business Services Sector on a local and European basis for deal execution and thereby building relationships with (potential) clients, management teams and buyers.
The successful candidate will have deep experience executing sell-side (and buy-side) deals in the mid- market, including leading junior team members and contributing to their development and retention in the firm.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Leading the execution of transactions.
- Conceptualizing, organizing, processing and delivering new business presentations for potential transactions.
- Managing, training and developing the more junior members of the team.
- Proactively pursuing origination, intensifying sector knowledge and identifying business opportunities for the team to go after
You Offer
- A strong track record of executing Financing and/or M&A transactions, preferably in the mid market
- An ability to confidently and credibly connect with potential new clients and to lead client meetings
- Excellence in finance, accounting and financial modeling and have good business and commercial acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An aptitude to seek and identify new business opportunities in concert with Managing Director(s) as well as independently over time and with increasing seniority
- Experience and skill to successfully manage teams of Associates and Analysts
- An interest in the business services sector, possibly some prior experience
- An assertive, motivated self-starter mentality with the desire and potential to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English, other languages an added benefit
