The Media Partnerships team works with leading content creators, publishers, and businesses across Entertainment, News, and Sports to ensure that Facebook and Instagram are a primary channel to engage with their audience and drive their business. We seek a highly detail-oriented and quantitative Operations Lead to help drive operational excellence for the Instagram Media Partnerships team. This person will be responsible for deriving insights from large data sets to design, build, and launch robust data quality processes that enable Instagram partner-facing teams to make analytically-driven strategic decisions.

Strategic Planning and Operations Analyst, Instagram Partnerships Responsibilities

  • Extract insights from large, technical data sets and communicate recommendations to varied audiences including high-level management.
  • Co-own/support end-to-end development of data quality workflows.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Media Partnerships leaders and other internal stakeholders on key business initiatives and special projects.
  • Manage database updates based on stakeholder requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, strategic planning, and/or business operations in the technology/Internet or media space.
  • Demonstrated SQL knowledge and Excel skills.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience - including managing multiple cross-functional partners simultaneously.
  • Experience solving complex and diverse business problems.
  • Proficient with Salesforce (especially with Dataloader) or other CRM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced SQL knowledge and Excel skills
  • 2+ years of practical experience querying SQL databases
  • Experience driving the full project lifecycle from conceptual strategy to final execution
  • Experience in establishing operational discipline and rhythm for businesses and teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business, or other quantitative disciplines
  • Tableau experience
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Proven experience leading/influencing stakeholders at different levels of an organization
  • Experience leading organizations through large-scale change management processes
  • Experience within the digital media space
  • Product management experience
