At Anrok, our mission is to empower SaaS businesses to operate in any market. A key challenge today for Internet business is the changing landscape of sales tax. In the last few years, SaaS businesses have gone from not having to worry about sales tax, to needing to monitor their exposure, calculate local sales tax rates, and remit returns in over 20 US states. Anrok plugs into a customer’s billing and payment systems and automates compliance.

We have raised over $24M at a valuation north of $100M from Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures who co-led both our seed and A rounds. We have assembled a world-class team with employees in San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Houston, and beyond.

As the initial Partnerships hire at Anrok, you will help build upon Anrok’s existing Partnership network to continue to unlock channel partnerships as a source of growth for both Anrok and our Partners. You will develop a repeatable and scalable playbook that builds value for both partners and Anrok’s go to market approaches. In your approach you’ll be a thoughtful and dynamic strategist, capable of engaging in business-level and financial risk conversations with CFOs, startups, and accounting firms.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify, recruit, and cultivate aligned partner relationships to deepen and expand Anrok’s existing network and pass prospect leads generated by partners to our Sales team.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to create enablement materials and increase the ability for partners to successfully communicate the value of Anrok.
  • Work to grow the number of deals sourced through Partnership channels.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for engagement with the Partnership network including attending in-person events across the US to expand relationships.
  • Create compelling communications and educational materials to help Partners solve sales tax with Anrok.

What excites us:

  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships, venture capital, business development or sales roles.
  • Experience with financial products or a background in finance, specifically experience building partnerships with accounting firms is a plus.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on being clear, concise, and informative.
  • You are a self-starter and have a track record of navigating ambiguity and producing concrete results.
  • You have a gift for fostering genuine relationships quickly and identifying common ground.
  • You are up to travel domestically several times a quarter.
