About the Role:

Credible is looking for a self-motivated, analytical and strategically-minded Senior Manager of Business Operations to join our Operational Excellence team. Reporting to the Associate General Manager of Operational Excellence, this is a high-visibility role where the successful candidate will have a significant impact on the company’s overall business objectives. This role will support the design, implementation, and ongoing management/improvement of a critical suite of processes, systems, and procedures. The successful candidate will operate effectively within various (including senior) levels of the organization and add value to all aspects of Credible’s operations (including operations, legal & compliance, finance, people operations, and business intelligence).

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Associate GM and key stakeholders to achieve the strategic objectives defined by the Operational Excellence roadmap. Specific projects include:
  • Streamlining existing operational processes (e.g., procurement)
  • Developing and implementing a data governance and retention strategy
  • Implementing a standardized and highly-scalable approach to goal-setting, reporting, project management, and roadmap planning across the different business lines
  • Identify additional opportunities to drive ongoing efficiency and improvement across the organization by prioritizing those activities which will be most impactful
  • Measure and report on the impact of new projects that generate meaningful efficiencies and/or growth to the business
  • Develop training materials and run training sessions in the pursuit of implementing Operational Excellence
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to the company’s key stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Participate in the setting of company budgets and long-range planning
  • Create a motivating cross-functional team environment for the Operational Excellence squad and company more broadly

Education and Experience:

  • 7-9 years of experience at a Fintech or consumer tech company or a management consulting firm
  • BS degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills - capable of developing and delivering compelling presentations, and running efficient and productive meetings
  • Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with strong business acumen and modeling skills
  • Possess strong operational and strategy experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
  • Resourceful, self-sufficient, and ability to prioritize workload
  • Have a demonstrated ability to drive business insights in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Have the ability to create structure and develop rigor in driving initiatives that are open-ended and problems that are unstructured
  • Can be influential within the organization to garner internal support for key initiatives
  • Humble, not territorial, collaborative, high EQ and IQ
