The role

Business Operations helps the business grow faster and operate more efficiently. We’re seeking a Sr. Director of Business Operations to support SoFi’s marketing team in delivering the next phase of SoFi’s growth. Reporting to the CMO, you will be a critical business partner for growing our brand, product awareness, customer acquisition, and member experience. You will be the trusted partner for the CMO and marketing leadership team to define strategy and what needs to get done, then drive efficient and scalable execution. What You’ll Do

Lead and support strategic initiatives within marketing and across the companyWork with marketing leaders to set strategy, priorities, and OKRs, then measure and manage business drivers and KPIsLead annual and quarterly planning for the marketing team in partnership with finance and other biz ops teamsHolistically understand and represent the marketing function internallySupport the creation of Board and Investor materialsDrive cross-functional resolution to critical challengesBe the connective tissue between marketing and across all cross-functional teams including the various Business Units, Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, HR, and DataAnalyze member, funnel conversion, marketing channel, and other data to unlock critical insights that will drive new marketing initiativesOwn the tools, processes, and tracking of our marketing funnels, budgets, and general operations

What You’ll Need

12+ years of experience that combines strategic thinking with tactical execution, ideally across management consulting, investment banking, and business operations or marketing roles at high-growth technology companiesPassion to learn, grow our business, and support our mission of helping members get their money rightAbility to break down challenges/opportunities, build a strategy, write an action plan, identify resources, and project-manage to completionUse data to drive strategy, execution, and optimizationHigh EQ to build relationships across all levels, departments, and personality types to lead without direct reporting linesTrack record of supporting and leading high-impact business resultsLeadership in recommending and deciding what to do versus being told what to doEagerness to roll up your sleeves to get things done (even the unglamorous things).Confidence and ability to partner with multiple functions from finance and vendor management to product marketers and direct mail channel ownersExpert communication and presentation skills and the confidence to articulate, present and debate your recommendations with anyoneAbility to balance and prioritize multiple work streams for different stakeholdersBachelor’s degree
