Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious and analytical Chief of Staff to play a key role in Avesta Ketamine and Wellness. This individual will work closely with the CEO, contributing strategic insights, financial modeling expertise, and operational support to drive the company's growth and success.
This role gives someone early in their career with significant financial modeling skills the opportunity to play a pivotal role in a young and fast-growing company with a mission to make a positive impact on mental health. You will gain exposure to and participate in high-level decision making. The scope of this position is adaptable and could range from a 2+ year stint, culminating in you pursuing your MBA, a permanent position with us or pursuit of your own entrepreneurial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize strong financial modeling skills to analyze and interpret data, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making. Prepare and present reports, findings and recommendations to the leadership team.
Lead and support in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Work closely with the CEO on special projects, operational improvements, and strategic planning.
Identify and drive growth initiatives such as analyzing potential new site locations for expansion and working on site development strategies.
Drive operational efficiency within the organization by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions.
Collaborate with various teams to execute key initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's financial and strategic goals
Assist with setting (and tracking) key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance.
Provide hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress on behalf of the chief executive.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of financial modeling experience from a role in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, M&A transaction services or similar field.
Proven track record of managing business development projects, fostering operational efficiency, and collaborating with high-performing teams to drive initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. No task is too small!
