Business Description

The Mortgage Sales Strategy group is a specialized team tasked with improving Sales efficiency and productivity. The team works closely with Technology, Marketing, Decision Sciences, and Sales, to help optimize the flow of over 50,000 mortgage leads every month. Optimization occurs primarily through deploying machine learning algorithms into production systems.

Role Description

The Executive Director of Sales Strategy will concentrate on crafting and executing the sales optimization program, encompassing routing strategy, lead optimization, and contact strategy. The professional occupying this role must ensure close coordination and alignment with key stakeholders in Decision Science, Marketing, and Technology. Concurrently, he/she will collaborate with our sales team to implement strategies and foster outcome-driven results.

Job Responsibilities

Own and communicate the Lead Optimization roadmap; break down key objectives into phases and requirementsRepresent the business agenda and organizational objectives, e.g., increasing sales productivity, making progress against our Path Forward goalsDefine Key Performance Indicators across the program; ensure implementation will enable measurement of Key Performance IndicatorsOutline reporting requirements to understand key performance and operational metrics; partner with Decision Science and Management Information ScienceConnect the dots across a variety of initiatives in Originations to more closely align strategies and highlight dependencies

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

5+ years in a business or executive management roleExcellent communication skills; written (PowerPoint slides) and verbal (senior-level presentations)Strong process design skills and ability to independently translate an end-state vision for lead optimization and distribution into pragmatic execution / well-paced roadmapRobust problem-solving skills and analytical mindset to manage across multiple stakeholders, trade-offs, and constraints to ensure roadmap deliveryAcumen for business analytics, machine learning models and ability to represent the group in respective internal/external meetingsMaster's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related areaTrack record of organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

Strategy/consulting background helpful, but not requiredExperience in Home Lending preferred
