Director of Product Operations

As Director of Product Operations, you will be responsible for defining and improving standardized practices within the product organization including tools, planning processes, team meetings, and training. You will work with product management, UX design, engineering, product marketing, and solution consulting to constantly deliver better outcomes through better processes and automation. This includes designing and implementing systems and processes that drive collaboration and support data-driven decision-making.

You have a strong background in product management, formal or informal experience in a product operations role, and a strong affinity for operational excellence in product processes. The ideal candidate has solid problem-solving, strong communication skills, and strong attention to detail.

What You Will Do

• Work with the VP of Product Management and other team leads to align and implement share best product management practices and frameworks
• Own key product processes such as the product development planning process and product launch process
• Lead the implementation and drive adoption of process updates for the product team
• Partner closely on various initiatives across Scandit with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc.
• Serve as "Chief of Staff" for the VP of Product, attending all key Product Management leadership meetings and helping to ensure the execution of Product team decisions
• Manage and facilitate overall Product team sync meeting design and frequency
• Support in maintenance and review of Product team KPIs
• Develop and maintain a continuing education program for product managers

Who You Are

• Experience in a Product Operations Role (either formally or informally)
• Strong background in product management
• Strong analytical skills
• Systematic and strong attention to detail
• Highly independent and pragmatic
• Open-minded, sociable, and driven personality.
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including Executive level communication
• Eligible to work in Switzerland.
