The Director, Business Operations will be a key contributor to the success of Slice’s growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing our market-level strategies, and will own the performance of a region. The ideal candidate will be results-focused, analytical, creative, and a strong communicator. The role reports to the VP, Go-to-Market.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor your region’s marketplace performance; identify gaps and develop tactics to improve overall performance
  • Identify local market growth opportunities and work with key cross-functional teams (including Product, Marketing, Sales) to develop and execute plans
  • Understand key drivers of customer experience and work with Account Management to identify highest ROI opportunities with existing Shops
  • Partner with Sales to determine shifts or changes in shop-level prioritization based on local market needs
  • Develop market-level Customer and Shop acquisition and engagement strategies
  • Identify opportunities for local marketing initiatives; drive tactics alongside other cross-functional teams
  • Monitor competitive environment and identify / drive market-level tactics
  • Communicate to senior leaders on key initiatives and associated impacts

What We’re Looking For

  • 8-10 years experience in management consulting, investment banking, operations, or a related field; startup experience a plus
  • 4-5 years experience managing a team or in a leadership role
  • A track record of driving results and achieving goals
  • Strong analytical skills with experience modeling program impacts, measuring results, and using data to make decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. You have a track record of effectively working with a variety of key players across the organization, such as product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and finance
  • Ability to drive multiple initiatives at one time, adapt to evolving priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
