We are looking for a Deputy Chief of Staff to the Customer Success and Marketing Teams who can contribute meaningfully to the hyper-growth of Thrive Global at an exciting time in its development.
The role, which reports dually to the Chief of Staff and to the leaders of the Customer Success and Marketing teams (VP of Customer Success & VP of Marketing), will manage key business, customer, marketing, and go-to-market priorities with a range of different partners across Thrive’s existing business lines and areas of expansion.
The role will work cross-functionally, collaborating with the executive team, business development / corporate development team, sales team, marketing team, customer success team, and product and engineering teams. - Partner with the VP of Customer Success and VP of Marketing (as well as other key business team stakeholders – for example, VP of Sales, Chief Product Officer, etc), in managing key Customer Success and Marketing team priorities - Partner and train with the Chief of Staff to drive key company projects and priorities - Accountable for planning, tracking, and documenting projects to ensure individual and team objectives and key results are being met- Support (and eventually drive) the execution of follow-ups from customer/marketing meetings- Support customer success and market team recruiting and onboarding efforts - Create, update, and improve upon resources and processes related to Customer Success activity, ie our CS PlaybookSend weekly customer newsletters through SailThru- Capturing key notes and follow-ups in customer success/marketing team meetings and assisting the VP of Customer Success and VP of Marketing in setting up and managing meetings - Support the VP of Customer Success and VP of Marketing in renewing and upselling existing customers and growing our customer base through advancing our demand generation and product marketing function - Work closely with cross-functional colleagues including product, sales, creative and more to ensure a coordinated approach toward launching complex projects- Research projects associated with potential strategic initiatives or partnerships and provide background for pitches and partnership meetings- Provide thought leadership in developing long term strategies and growth opportunities for Thrive Global
- 1+ years experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or marketing / customer success / business development at a technology company- Experience consistently meeting and exceeding goals- Based in New York City - A confident and eloquent communicator who has experience working with C-Suite contacts and leveraging access into deal making and building long term, sustainable business strategies and deals- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is flexible and has high energy to get work done- A skilled operator who can understand complex business challenges and turn them into impactful solutions, pipeline, and deal flow - A team player who represents Thrive Global mission and corporate values internally and externally - Someone who manages time and prioritizes effectively to meet deadlines and partner expectations- A passion for and desire to learn and speak about well-being, productivity, neuroscience, psychology, performance
