This position provides strategic and tactical support to the Vice President of International Consumer Credit Operations in the Global Service Network organization. The incumbent will be a vital member of the ICCO leadership team, working closely on the execution of key deliverables.

a high performing team environment. Reporting to the Vice President Assistant, you will also serve as a

critical thought partner, figuring out direction for the team, and directly collaborating with Unit CIOs and

senior leaders.

The Manager Assistant is responsible for a broad range of activities including colleague communications,

organization & planning, and execution of activities to meet the objectives of the Office of the CIO:

  • Run business planning and operational processes (e.g., leadership meetings, cost center management, and scorecard metrics) for the organization
  • Deliver a broad range of communications including: Organizational charts, All Hands & business updates and employee communications
  • Develop comprehensive executive-level presentations for a variety of audiences
  • Independently handle special projects/ activities and day-to-day issues
  • Drive social optimization and business process improvement
  • Serve as a central point of contact for multiple organization initiatives
  • Support headcount and financial management activities
  • Provide backup administrative support, to include phone coverage, scheduling appointments and Document/presentation creation and maintaining organization charts.
  • Build good working relationships across the organization to improve information sharing, problem

Additional qualifications include:

  • Work experience within areas such as HR, Project Management or Technology
  • Strong industry knowledge of the newest technologies and its relevance to the American Express environment groups preferred
  • Demonstrated project management, organization and planning skills applied in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to get results, think strategically and globally
  • Passion, energy, personal accountability and a desire to learn and grow as a leader
  • Excellent social, judgment, communication and follow through skills
  • Solid analytical and financial acumen
