The Role

Sinclair are currently recruiting for a Chief Operating Officer. The role is open to be performed at any of our office locations with regular travel to our Operational sites in Europe as well as travel to our head quarters in the Chester, UK.

The Chief Operating Officer will lead the Operations department globally and support business development of Sinclair, ensuring optimal levels of service, productivity and global performance.

The Chief Operating Officer will align objectives of the Operations area with the business vision, mission and values and ensure that they are achieved. They will also manage governance processes of Operations and ensure the availability and quality of materials.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the aesthetic or medical devices industry. They will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across Sinclair. Their primary goal will be to increase our organisations productivity, efficiency and profitability. Reporting into the CEO and providing key operational insights as well as developing employees.

Key responsibilities

  • Active participation in General Management of the company, as a member of its leadership team
  • Develop and monitor strategic planning for the Operations area.
  • Set the annual economic objectives together with the management.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in order to achieve the objectives defined by the company.
  • Prepare the KPI control panel for the management of the Operations area.
  • Keep up to date and informed of the updates in the operations field for continuous improvement
  • Manage the budget of the area to carry out purchase volumes according to the planned operational work, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Elaboration and evaluation of the objectives of the Operations area (functional area and individual).
  • Identification of department KPI's, measurement of them on a monthly basis and
  • establishment of corrective measures. Among them:
  • Global Supplier Spend Distribution

o Manufacturing productivity

o Delivery times

o Material inventory levels

o Product Costs & quality

  • Plan, execute and supervise purchasing, procurement and production activities, ensuring
  • product quality and managing the resources necessary to meet operational
  • objectives.
  • Control and monitoring of the Operations budget
  • Supervise compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance processes to ensure optimal resource utilization
  • Supervise the implementation of security policies
  • Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
  • Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
  • Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
  • Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO based on
  • your market research

Your Skills & Experience ‚Äď Do You Have What it Takes?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • with Operations Management
  • Experience as a Chief Operating Officer or equivalent
  • role
  • Experience within the cosmetic, aesthetic or
  • medical devices sectors.
  • Strategic planning and business development experience
  • Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Degree within Supply Chain or Operations Management
  • Additional languages
