The Chief of Staff creates scale and use for the CEO of Mulesoft, driving key priorities, communication, accountability, and execution. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding combination of emotional intelligence, operations & administration, project management, and executive presence. They will lead through influence and have a sound understanding and exposure to a variety of business areas. This role requires the ability to operate in the details but also drive high level strategy quickly. This person will develop a deep understanding of business strategy and work closely with the EA who orchestrates the planning.

Works with CEO and COO to set and drive priorities. Partner with our EA to orchestrate and complete.Lead CEO’s priorities, partnering closely with the leadership team, and business partners on key initiatives. Aid in conflict resolution and delegation.Attend key internal meetings with the CEO; provides a synthesis and/or analysis of key meetings/interactions to keep CEO and partners moving in alignment.Communicates with vitality and appropriate discretion and transparency to the CEO, leadership team (estaff), and partners.Drives the alignment and accountability of leadership through a cadence of meetings, offsites and other async channels. Owns clarifying agenda objectives and follow-through on outcomes/decisions.Act as a thought partner and advisor to executives preparing for key review and planning meetings.Involvement in driving Long Range Planning (LRP) and annual planning processes with each estaff functional leaderAssuming or delegating day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks amongst the team, ensuring follow-up and follow-throughActively networks and establishes relationships with broader L1 and L2 COS functions - to identify and implement standard methodologies for the role
