We are seeking a Chief of Staff reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position will act as both an advisor to the CEO and a delegate on his behalf. You will partner closely with the Senior Leadership team to develop, communicate and execute strategic plans across the business. Day-to-day responsibilities are dynamic and will vary greatly based on the candidate & the business needs at the time. This role serves as a potential pipeline to senior operational roles at Groupon.

This role will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• Act as thought partner to the CEO on all aspects of corporate strategy
• Understand and actively participate in full scope of running a global, public company - both internally and externally
• Drive the annual business planning process and work intimately with the senior leadership team (STeam) to shape strategic priorities
• Own content, strategy and agendas for STeam meetings, executive offsites and Board of Directors meetings
• Build strong relationships with C-Level and S-Team members to influence decision-making across the organization

We're Excited About You If You Have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required; MBA strongly preferred
• 10-12 years of overall work experience; including 1+ years in Management/Strategy Consulting, and 1+ years in Product Management, with a proven track record of success
• Director-level operating experience (e.g., marketing, product, business development) and online or marketplace experience a plus
• Strong program management skills to drive multiple initiatives in a changing environment with limited supervision
• Experience navigating complex / matrixed business organizations and negotiating optimal solutions across cross-functional teams
• Analytic, strategic and structured thinker with entrepreneurial drive
• Clear and effective communicator via keyboard and in-person
• High integrity, trusted advisor with high EQ and low ego
• A big plus if you have prior Product Management experience
